Thanks for showing that graph, looks like a budget offering from 2018. "Someone may like it" is the most polite condemnation I have seen in a review recently.

I can understand some complaints regarding the sound signature of these earphones, but if all IEMs released were the same, there would be no point in having them in a collection. As a collector, a frequency response (FR) like this is Kefir gold, and in my experience, good in-ear manufacturers aim to diversify the tuning of their products. This is unlike companies like QKZ, among others, which practically flood the market with almost sonically identical earphones. I found this FR very interesting, just like other earphones with eccentric signatures, such as the recent Celeste Rue. Obviously, for someone who wants just one IEM, it would be more interesting to look for something more aligned with the Harman Curve, such as the recent Hzsound White Snow or the Artti R6, for example.

Mine arrived last thursday, and I love it, scales well with better power sources but is mostly easy to drive with a simple dongle Dac, the included eartips are enough for me, but cable rolled to a cheap qkz t1. Thanks for the review!!! I know it is a different tuning but I'm digging it, I think for the right price is a good rec.

I see what you are saying but I have a different take: Elua is a good IEM for someone who has multiple sets. This one fills a niche. Great for Techno with great powerful bass and outstanding technicalities, especially for this price.
@VortexReviews1Ай бұрын
It has a place for that if you have many iems.

Yeah I saw that lol not even an unboxing I think. But in general he just want to experiment how far he can get away with tunings lol. The guy isn't afraid to shit on his own collab if needed be.

Now, does the performance of a driver directly in front of the nozzle differ from the performance of a driver far away who has a tube connecting him to the nozzle?
@VortexReviews1Ай бұрын
I presume the driver at the back is more subdued?
@cheyannei598319 күн бұрын
According to the physics, no, but DD's aren't technically point sources either. Remember woodwind instruments are all tubes, some extremely constrained like the oboe... but similarly trumpet players wouldn't gush over smoothing the interior of a valve if everything were perfect and ideal. In fact, the nozzle is one such tube, so what's one more? I guess the answer is that performance is affected less than you'd think, more than you'd want. Can't be worse than the alternative; which is reflecting all around the shell in the hope it ends up at the nozzle okay!

I've read a few comments and I have to strongly disagree. These are some headphones that aren't targeted to play everything. HBB talks about it very often, presenting what music he bases his opinion. I can agree that the vocals are different, but for the music I wanted to listen to => dubstep, gaming dubstep, riddim dubstep, brostep experimental bass etc (there usualy is no vocals) for $30 nothing will surprise me more in next years. I respect everyone's opinion, I'm just presenting my own point of view. It's really worth trying these IEMs and getting out of Your comfort zone by listening to some really fuc*** up genres of music 😂😅. All the best!
@jamsblastАй бұрын
Look at my comment yesterday , I love those iems, I think with a good price is a good rec for fans of that type of tuning and well, I dig those kind of tuning, is not a macro and microdetails beast but delivers in this aspect, the bass is nice, not so fast but well defined and the mids and highs are fine, not tamed, enough clarity. I think the point of the review is fine, I know the tuning is different, but i don't care, is a good set.
