Pretty sure the deflate scandal wasn’t the first time the pats got in trouble for cheating accusations and the disrespect belicheck and brady give to their opponents just shows they think their better then everyone else and “deserve” the wins over anyone else. And people who feel they deserve something are among the groups most likely to cheat outside of people who are just straight up bad at the game along with knowing how to hide it better then others.

There's another great example involving Jim Harbaugh at Stanford. Mans was blowing out UCS, and when his team had 42 points and scored a touchdown, he went for a meaningless two-point conversion just to get to 50 points. Especially with all of the underhanded recruiting going on under his tenure. It is no coincidence he left the same year the NCAA began to crack down and investigate USC. He escaped without punishment while the school had to vacate win, at least one title and Reggie was punished as well. Zero sympathy for the man. His players have also come out and mentioned how they are encouraged to push the rules to the limit and force the officials to throw flags and enforce penalties such as holding on offense and defense in the secondary and on the defensive line to free up linebackers vs the run. Lynch himself has spoken about, as has Brandon Browner, Sherman, Earl Thomas and others. The philosophy is "They won't throw 60+ flags a game, so you will get away with 50+ infractions and we will just get called for the other 10."

Titans vs Ravens: Don't dance on the other teams logo. Buccaneers vs Bears: Team members of opposing teams should meet on the middle of the field to congratulate each other. 49ers vs Lions: Don't celebrate so exuberant when going to shake the opposing Coach's hand and don't brush them off like that. Ravens vs Bangles: don't throw a 50 yard bomb when the game is already over. Whichever team vs Jets in this clip: just take a knee when your winning and the game is basically over. So yeah the basic unwritten rule that was broken was not showing respect to the opposing team when they won.

Harbaughs don't mind breaking rules, written or not. I remember the ref-lockout, 49ers were trailing the Vikings in Minnesota. Harbaugh takes his last timeout, then marches to the Ref "I wanna challenge, but am out of Timouts, how does it work?" Like he doesn't know the rules and ends up getting that challenge and his timeout back. Uses it to challenge once more afterwards IIRC and then finally takes it. Replacement Refs were bad, but no needs to actively confuse and gaslight them like that. He openly talked about doing it afterwards as well. Vikings still won.

The 2nd example was strange. It almost seemed like they just wanted to try to make John Harbaugh look bad for some reason. Rather than actually showing Harbaugh himself criticize the other team/coach, they just used clips of sports talk show hosts speculating on the intent of a post-game handshake; which would lead me to believe there is no such clip of Harbaugh to begin with. I mean, I’m sure that during the handshake he did ask the Bengals coach why they ran the play, but that seems like a perfectly fair question to ask - it would appear he was satisfied with the answer he received too, since throughout the entirety of both clips there is literally a quote on the screen from his post-game press conference where he stated that everything was fine, and that he shared a mutual respect with the Bengals coach.
