Hello, Couldn't it work while setting it as an extension? Is it unable to be displayed or what's the phenomenon?Is the resolution set to 1024x600? Please feel free to contact our support team on service.waveshare.com/

@@waveshareelectronics The screen is connected direclty to the hdmi output of my desktop as the only screen. The only thing I get is no signal. Usually when you connect a monitor to your graphic card, windows set automatly the appropried resolution. But not here. And it seem that the only way to make it work is to set the video output to 1024x600. I tried to set the résolution to 1024x768 with a standard pc monitor. Then restart with the 7 inch touche screen but nothing show up. Same thing with 800x600. Does it need to be exactly set to 1024x600 and how I can do it in windows 10?

If i plug the micro usb port for power and touch into a separate power bank instead of the raspberry pi, will it work?
@waveshareelectronics Жыл бұрын
It will, must make sure it's 5V input, and this method will be without touch

Does the product need to be connected to The micro usb port to turn on, or does it work without that and the micro usb port is only for touch functionality

Hello, I purchased your other product "7inch Resistive Touch Screen LCD". Which is very similar to this one. The touch functionality does not work with my raspberry pi 4. Should it work out-of-the-box? Do I have to install any particular drivers?

Dear, is it this one? www.waveshare.com/7inch-hdmi-lcd.htm Did you refer to our wiki? www.waveshare.com/wiki/7inch_HDMI_LCD after checking, if it still doesn't work, you can submit support request here: support.waveshare.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

@@waveshareelectronics Yes, it's that one. I don't understand why in the wiki it says that I have to connect the touchscreen to the Raspberry Pi via the I/O pins, but in this video it shows that to have the touch functionality you just have to connect via the USB port. Plus the HDMI port to have the video functionality, of course. Thanks for your help. I would like not to occupy the I/Os of my Raspberry Pi.
