I bought the 2020 Z900 and have ridden motorcycles for 25 years. The 2020 model apparently filled all the gaps that you mentioned in this video. I did want the electronics such as ABS and traction control, because out if the bikes that I have ridden, this is the first sport bike i have owned. I do really enjoy the precision and low end power that this bike offers. It's a little stiff at it's current factory settings but I can adjust that out. I'm glad you did this review! Great work and I hope to see more!

Thanks. Mine does have ABS but would love traction control. Wish I could test ride the 2020 z900.

So far I’m happy with the Z900 (7000 km on it, about 4400 miles). More than enough power for me but still good to handle, no need for riding modes. Got the higher stock seat, short license plate holder, led indicators and bar end mirrors. All in all a great bike. Sadly you can’t really change the exhaust tone because decat mods aren’t allowed in Germany. What i don’t like: it’s not the smoothest engine if you have to crawl through city traffic on low rpms. On second or third gear it tends to be a little bit binary: on or off. Can be fixed with o2 sensor eliminator and running more on the richer fuel mix: not allowed in Germany.

Thanks for watching, yeah I don’t see myself upgrading for “modes” however an upgrade for traction control would be what I like. I don’t think I’ll be getting rid of mine tho, it’s my baby.

decatting isn't allowed anywhere pretty much , we just take the risk of getting caught with , just like everything

Texas doesn’t do emissions when we do our yearly inspections. They don’t care what exhaust you have on any vehicle.

I got the 2024 I put about 3,000 mi on it and it's got traction control abs but you have to get the SE model in order to get the adjustable suspension I have the ABS which is the same it just doesn't have the adjustable suspension and maybe some other things I haven't figured out yet

How is it on the highway compared to the ninja 650 ? I got a 2019 ninja 650 and want to upgrade to the z900 but most of my riding is short hour or 2 rides on the highway ..
@RETMoto4 жыл бұрын
Mr710324 I rode my z900 from Texas to the border of Arkansas and Missouri. 5 hours of highway and 5 hours of backroads. No touring windshield and I didn’t have any issues.

Mate did you ever have any problems with that bike with the oil censors and engine management light just I was watching a man on KZbin he said at 5000 miles the oil censor light came on and when he reved it it went of but when he slowed down came back on it was water in it he got that sorted then the engine management light came on its suppose to go out when you start the bike he had to take it to kawasakie so they put it on diagnostics charge 37 pound so that means every time that happens you have to pay that he says all the lights stays on well if mine starts that there taking it back ta fuck he says all kawasakie bikes do that that's why am asking did that happen you

Never had an issue with the light just coming on at all. Honestly this is the only bike I’ve ever had without issues. Thanks for watching.

Bar ends on top of your handlebars will be better, they sit at the very end of your handlebars and don’t impact turning or throttle

Pretty bold that you sold your other bikes. It is a nice bike. May I know what bikes you used to have? This bike is quite cheap used ones. I might get one :D
@@RETMoto hows the z900 vs the gsx s750? Which is better in your opinion?
@RETMoto2 жыл бұрын
@@josephloyalty1829 I’ve never rode the gsx750 but I’d rather compare the z900 to the gsx1000. Both in the same class. I still like the aesthetics of the z900 more. If I get to test ride either of the gsx’s I’ll let you know!

I just bought a 2019 Z900. Is that a gel seat you have on yours?
@RETMoto4 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the gel yet. But the regular seat cover has a padding due to the pattern. Works great as is.
