Their brass is great and not cheap. Not a reloadedr. But looking into it when I get back to work. Do to ammo prices.

I used Norma brass for .22 ppc competition and practice. If you take care of it, it'll last a very very long time. Of course that cartridge isn't tough on brass, but it is definitely a tack driver with some get up, for a .22 banger. I had quite a few, but over the 4 years of shooting I didn't buy one single other brass. The primer pocket stayed tight with no excessive stretching, mouth splitting or separation of head or webbing. Good stuff!

I think it was Bob Hagel who measured penetration in a experiment and found the 7mm Remington magnum using a nosler partition penetrated the deepest of all along with the 338 Winchester magnum. He said those two were by far the deepest and straightest penetration he ever measured. Good cartridge choice.

My 700 is 3 and 1/2 inches high at 100 and is dead on at 400 yds. The accuracy of yours tells me what I was wondering about those rifles, their definitely accurate enough. 👍

Appreciate your representation for the common man, very admirable. I too advocate bargain firearms. Haven't had the chance to fire a 770, looks good and performed well. Lots of people complain about the plastic sling mounts but that amazing stock you have solved that issue, can't wait to see the complete build. Might have to dail it back in but doping the scope is always fun. Heard good reports from lots of European hunters regarding norma ammo. Great marksmanship btw.

Former army scout sniper. I own a rem 700sps in 7mm rem mag and a rem 770 in 7mm rem mag. I get the same accuracy out of these two rifles. Very great price especially for a magnum caliber. My buddies poo poo on my 770 too till i shoot a 4” group at 1k yards with factory ammo. A tool is only as good as the person using it. Happy shooting brother!

Quick tip: first shot on paper. Align scope with first hole and gently align reticle with bullseye without moving rifle. That's is how you zero with only 2 rounds. ;)

The 770 Remington is hard to beat. I have a 270 and 30-06. They can with a Tasso scope and were on the paper at 250 yards the day I bought them. Excellent rifle line for the woods.

Best thing to do with that rifle,would be to pull the bolt out and hit it with some high grit sand paper! My buddy has the same one and it felt dryer than a bone! I took some 1000 grit to it and polished the bolt. She functions flawlessly. Cheap rifle, shoots great. Not my cup of tea, but it works and works well!

The same can be said about many things: vehicles, houses, clothes, etc. I think it has to do with snob appeal. I'm working with a rifle now that cost close to a grand that, as pretty as it is, is going to be a challenge to get to 1 MOA consistently for three shots.

I really enjoy watching your channel.. you made me very nervous shooting that close to a acupied building. You should always sight the gun in around 50 yards so you know your on paper first. I kick myself for not buying a few of those 770's . Our Walmart sold them for $205.00 tomo them out. I was not a fan of the plastic trigger Gard. Not thinking I could up grade the stock.

Arc angel stock worked wonders for my buddies 91/30. Mdt is nice as well as volquarsten, a little bit more pricey and l probably didn't spell it correct but just my opinion.

A rifle that has been collecting dust in my safe for years got to go hunting this year, a Weatherby in 7mm Weatherby Mag. Believe it or not, it's the only rifle I could find ammo for at a reasonable price. This is a messed up year.

Glad you better luck than me with the 770. Mine was the worst rifle I ever purchased. The trigger pull was so bad there was no way to keep it on target and it took a strong hand to open the chamber following a shot. Mine was in 270 Win. I was lucky that the dealer took it back and refunded my money.

Pretty great honestly. Have a question for ya sir, I’m buying a lever action. Mostly for plinking and home defense. But may want to take a deer with it someday. Looking at the .357 magnum or the 30-30. Both are great just can’t make up my mind... any knowledge to help steer my choice ? Thanks for all that ya do.

Not trying intrude on question, can't help but suggest my opinion though. Personally in a lever platform l would want a 44 mag for best of both worlds. I have a glenfield model 36 in 30-30 that boy is mean on the open range wouldn't even attempt to fire it indoors. 44 mag gives you more shots, less recoil and no compromise on power or range

Maybe you can confirm this but I read an article about the trajectory of the 7mm rem mag and apparently if you sight it in to be 1 inch high at 100yrds it will be dead center at 300yrds. If that's true it would make those long distance shots alot easier to make

I suggest 1" high at 100. That will put you dead on at about 300 give or take depending on ammo.

You should have sighted it in with the new stock because the torque between the rifle and the new stock might mess up your zero with the old stock

I just purchased a 7mm remington magnum if you sight it in at 100 yards what is it at 200 and 300 yards I was told that a 200 yard zero was better thanks for any constructive criticism 400 yards is going to be my max limit on distance for where I hunt

I zero everything at 100. Look up a ballistic calculator online and it will tell you the bullet drop

Why does anyone want to "poop" on that? It is a beautiful rifle! I have a Remington 700 in .270 that I absolutely love! Its got the synthetic stock and everything. Shoots fine, looks fine, feels great, Remington's are awesome! If anyone gives you a hard time about it, just tell 'em ole' Poopshoot said to go shoot some poop and be quiet.
