Elliot would be a much better player if he cut down on the errors. He's a big hitter for sure.

Thanks. Not my finest match but a lot of that was due to Mark really making it tough. I'm glad he cut out all time I spent breathing between points. Really took my legs away from me.

Backhand is a major liability, especially returning serve. Great serve though and his forehand is great when his feet are set up.

You're not supposed to have the netcord block the far side service line, also the camera is a bit at an angle. Might affect the accuracy.

Hey Mark, do you use your phone to record your Swingvision videos or do you use a different device and upload to Swingvision? I use my phone but I feel like the quality is just not good (evident in my youtube videos 🙁)
@GuardBuffalo2 жыл бұрын
Do you have an iPhone? I use my iPhone and I’m pretty happy with quality. DO NOT USE the 4k though. A 90 min 4k video was 40gb took forever to download. Use the standard HD at either 30 or 60 fps. And I’d get a fence mount or tripod. I recommend a tripod personally. That way if there isn’t a fence like this video you can still manage. Center it on the hash at furthest point you can back. I also zoom my camera out. Although I’ve been zooming out to far I think. To about .55x on iPhone camera. I’m going to start doing .65x-.7x I just like get a little better footage of the person on camera side. If they are pushed too far back in this video then I think it would be tough to see. Of course this is perfect for Mark. As he is using it for content and this is a pretty solid view. However, I have to be able to see more because I use it to correct my form and I don’t want to miss stuff because I wasn’t in view. But any iPhone within the last 3-4 years should make a pretty solid video.

Hey Mark noticed that you're recording the scores on your watch. What watch and app do you use and also is it useful? I'm thinking of doing the same.
@GuardBuffalo2 жыл бұрын
It’s an app for SwingVision. Just download the one from your phone to the watch. It is very cool, but there are a couple issues. For one you can’t score later. Even if you score a point or two later then swing vision will report the score incorrectly. Like if it’s 15-15 and you win the next 3 points in a row to win the game but 15-15 was like recording you made then even after you update it all the points you missed will say 15-15. Now the points after you catch it up will be fine but there is no way to go back and change the ones you missed unless they changed that recently. I stopped subscribing because the app was really tough to use at the time. And the scoring feature was the main thing I wanted. Secondly and this may be a me problem but I get super sweaty. So it was hard to use the point by point feature as sometimes it was difficult to press the buttons. The point by point + feature was even harder although it did help with cool stats. Cause you could say this point was won on a forehand winner, an ace, an opponents forehand error, etc. so the stats were neat.

Swing vision is pretty inaccurate in this video. Some serves were miss classified and way too slow compared to the others that I assume is correct. Same goes for the rally. It also doesn't get the ball contact correctly. Is it still in beta?
