when i even have a single loss match i directly go and start playing demolition mode,valve deathmatch, etc. for 1 or 2 days and that builds up some confidence by destroying those noobs. the next match is again easily won! confidence is also a major part of cs it can make u make plays that u can not even think of i play those modes also for having fun. i get to talk to people while practicing my aim... wingman mode is also a fun to play game mode and dependent upon ur aiming skills (probably)
@jackiv73184 жыл бұрын
Hello, I have a question - I am struggling for a while to understand this concept of confidence. How do you know you are confident? Or how to create the confidence? And what exactly does it have to do with improving your aim or positioning? I can understand those secondary things like shaky or sweaty hands or doubting yourself in the moment, but I just ... when the game starts I have feeling I am gonna do terrible no matter what, but when there is the game happening I am just unable to do enough multitask, that my brain capacity has no room for thinking about confidence. So how can one rely more on it, if one cannot understand the topic?
@razNEAT4 жыл бұрын
@@jackiv7318 you don't need to think about confidence when in a game. You're either confident or you're not. Building confidence comes from experience. If you want to execute a play confidently you need to have experience with the play you want to make. If you've never done that play before you need to be confident in your mechanics to be prepared for unexpected fights. To become confident id recommend working on your aim and movement until you can execute those 2 skills to a comfortable level. You will be able to take confident aim duels and build your experience with positions and what works and what doesn't. After that you want to go out and play, go for plays you didn't do before, test your limits, build your experience. Also try to not think about your rank as much. It's only a few pixels and even if you lose it, with you learning new things you'll become a better player and rank up eventually. Good luck!
@jackiv73184 жыл бұрын
@@razNEAT Well ... dont think about it ... :D in game I am not thinking about it. When I am outside the game, I do not think I will ever be confident enough in my own abilities :/ No matter what I do I have feeling I am not gaining better mechanical skills and every decision I do I feel I should have done differently when I am watching it again. Also as you said "execute play confidently" ... I can execute something I want to do, but I do not consider it confident or not confident in the moment of me creating the decision. :/
@razNEAT4 жыл бұрын
@@jackiv7318 hm yeah that's a tough spot you're in. If it helps you, when reviewing my demos I always find things wich I could play different or better too and that's a good thing! It's part of learning and becoming a better player. I can't tell you where my confidence comes from, but I can give an example: last game we had an eco/low buy on ct mirage, so I said I'll buy a deagle and one-deag the guy running out mid. So I did it, but got absolutely destroyed by 3 people running out mid. But whatever, laughed it off as it was an insane idea in the first place :D I hope I can get across my point, fear not to try out things! Maybe say "I'm going to push ramp and kill someone", maybe you'll push ram and kill someone. You can't know if you don't try. Maybe it works and you say "wow this is easy, if I can do this, I can do so much other shit to my enemies and disrespect them". If I understand right you are aware of your mechanical skills, but you are under the impression that your enemy is better. Fuck that. Don't give them respect unless they force you to. If someone shows you that their aim is better yeah whatever, you should still think of yourself as the better player and just find away to play around that. When reviewing my faceit demos for example I hear them often say things like "how is this guy running out there like a retard and it still works????". Because I don't have to play proper cs until I need to. Why use insane strats if I can just hold W and one tap people to get an opening for my team? If you still feel like shit about your mechanics I can give you some advice on how to improve if you want, but having the confidence will probably help you more at the moment.

I'd say NiKo is easily the best aimer, but I wanted to add that lately oBo has been absolutely insane. In more than a few games he's consistently won aim duels against awpers in situations where the awp should have had an easy kill on him with the most impressive example being a kill on device on Train. In one game (I am not 100% sure, but I think it was against NiP on Nuke), oBo also somehow managed to hit two shots using a Famas on a guy who was prefiring a headshot on him with an AK. Granted, oBo didn't win the duel, but even still managing to do that in an online environment where the peeker's advantage is much stronger than normal is incredibly impressive. Most importantly, he wins almost every aim duel he gets himself in. I think he has a few areas for improvement and would likely do better on LAN, but he still is unbelievably good and almost all of his "weak" areas will resolve themselves once as he gets more experience in the pro scene.

Mentality on games is something that 80% of the gamers dont understand. I found a video about ranked games in lol and the guy said if you dont smurf, here are the proven maths. Every 10 games (applies if you have played like 200+ games on a season) you will have 3 auto wins, where you have good coplayers, the enemy team will troll, someone will go afk, something will happen and you will win the game automatically. 3 games will be autoloss, someone from your team will go afk, will troll, anything. And here comes the rest 4 games that will be about you, about you to play good, to even carry the game alone. So the max you will have is 70% winrate, cause you have 30% loss, 30% auto win and there will be 40% of your games that you can actually do something. His point was, stop pushing yourself and waste energy to games that are autoloss. Dont flame, just surrender, and go to the next. If you loose 2 games in a row, ita ok, close lol and play a games in 5 hours from now, and if you loose again, just go another day, its ok Thus doing it, i easily get out from silver wjile only doing this, i didnt changed anything than my mind aspect. I had better mentality, bam more chances to win a game

When I started CS it was for therapy because I had a broken wrist, so I had to play at like 4500 DPI. I know unplayable lol. Well no, i ranked up to silver elite. When my wrist got better I started moving my DPI down gradually until I was at 800 dpi. headhots like mad now. SO MUCH EASIER TO AIM lol.

QOTD: I think twistzz is the best aimer. Niko relies mainly on his brain and positioning

Saying CS is not about aiming but about "crosshair placement" is bold 😂
