It's kind of wishful thinking. Commercially it's probably not that interesting. Especially if you let upgrade everybody for free. That 's said i think there is potential if Ms (and others) would involve the game/developer community. If Microsoft , publishers and developers work together a lot of great things could be accomplished The future of gaming it not so much the console itself, but more the platform as a whole.

Funny thing is I own all these games & it's great to see them as backwards-compatible titles on Xbox One for me to either finally finish, get all achievements or play all over again! One cool feature of 360 backwards-compatible games on Xbox One is that, because they're emulated, all games feature locked v-sync, which means, no more screen-tearing (something you'd often see in some titles & could ruing the immersive experience of a game). Also, there are still plenty of Xbox 360 games, a lot of which I still own, that are still needed to be added as backwards-compatible titles. Hopefully we'll see it happen soon!

STG44 is my favorite weapon from Call of Duty: World at War. I also like the MG42, G43, SVT40, and FG42. I like the Russian Campaign where you fought the Germans by mounting the gun turret while the driver is operating the tank.

I think that "Fable" (the first one) The was remastered would make a great spot on this list, or "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" also would make an amazing appearance on this list! Both great "Action RPG" games that stand up to this day graphics wise and such!

World at War should be a lot higher it is in my top 3 favorite games of all time the only reason I don't play anymore because there are so many modders that they reset your rank ruin the game and all-around make you not have a good time other than that the game itself is amazing from the storyline to the multiplayer and also the zombies for being the first Call of Duty to add zombies it is really good

Red Dead Redemption on XBox One is great, but only the singleplayer and not the Undead Nightmare DLC. The Multiplayer is still broken and Undead Nightmare is unplayable thanks to a bug which makes zombie heads dissappear. And Rockstar won't fix it.

When you put a disc in that's on the list of supported games, it'll start downloading a redone version that works on the X1. You still need the disc in to play, like a disc check. If you bought the game previously (digitally) on 360, then you just go in the store and download it. If you never owned a certain game that's BC, you can just go in the digital store and buy it. But finding the disc on Amazon or gamestop is most likely cheaper.
