This video just shows a few examples of me completing 8 Ball pool clearances from the break. I talk through the shots explaining my thought process and how I plan to clear the table, why I'm taking balls in a particular order and how I'm going to get position on the next ball.
The shots are carried out on a 7ft Supreme Winner UK 8 ball table.

Just come across these clearance videos. Really enjoyed watching them, pausing after the break and then figuring out how I might try it. It's then really interesting to compare your approach. Great job, keep them coming if you can.

I was in a similar position once in 9 ball where I could only play doubles. It was extremely exciting

Well played sir! 2nd frame - flick was awesome - didn’t anticipate that! Third frame - concentrating more on just potting when the going gets tough is sound advice. And as for the 4th - yes a bit of luck but you had sufficient knowledge of the angles to play them! A really good collection which demonstrates what a mastery you need of all the facets of the game to make clearances! Brilliant. I had a purple patch of 4 clearances in 5 frames and I thought that was good! But as I began to take things for granted my consistency deteriorated 😬

Cheers. Yeah I probably didn't need to play that flick, but it did makes thing easier. I think the most consecutive clearances I have made is 2 so that's better consistency than me. It's easy to make it look simple when you just edit the succesful ones together!

How does the triangle continuously keep rocking back and forth on the end of the table?

😂 I know! You'd think it would settle after a couple of swings but it seems to rock forever!

I really think that you under estimate yourself. I think that you can definitely mix it with the pros should you really want to.

Cheers very kind of you. Seriously though, I’m not that good. There are lots of better players than me in my local league so a long way off that level at the moment.

Great video. How often do you expect to clear from your break?
@PoolSchool
@PoolSchool 3 жыл бұрын
Not sure never really counted. If you include from dry breaks then maybe 1 in 10 (I'm nowhere near as good as the pros)).

which of the 2 racker triangles do you prefer ? i ordered the magnetic one that pushes up , i hope it’s a lot better than a standard triangle as they are rather expensive
@PoolSchool
@PoolSchool 2 жыл бұрын
They are both great triangles to be honest. I would say I tend to find myself using the Pro Racker more often purely because I like the rollers that give it a really smooth feel. However it doesn't have the magnetic bar like the other one which is also a really good feature.

@@PoolSchool I currently have the Hainsworth match cloth on my table is the strachan superfine much faster?
@PoolSchool
@PoolSchool 3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure I’ve played on it so don’t think I could compare (I probably have, but never owned it). My first table came with a Hainsworth Smart and I found that really slow. I had that re-clothed with Hainsworth Precision and that was really fast. I would say the Precision was faster than the Superfine but it was incredibly thin and didn’t last long. I find the Superfine more hard wearing whilst still having good speed. I also find I can get a little more action on it than the precision. Very fine margins and personal preference though.
