I just started using the ordinay's mandelic acid about a month ago and my skin has never looked better. I have sensitive skin and rosacea and my skin cannot tolerate most acids, especially glycolic acid. Mandelic acid has been so amazing to provide gentle exfoliation without causing irritation. This video came at such a great time

Cass, I have noticed (not just in this video) that while making lists or comparisons of the same/similar skincare products from different companies, you DO mention the price. However, you DON'T say the volume (all the time, along with the price). THE INKEY LIST Mandelic Acid Treatment at $12 for 15ml!!! might not look that attractive in comparison with The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA with the same price but for 30ml. Just a pinch of objectivity:) Thank you for doing what you do!

You deserve an award for empowering both young and old / men and women to make smart skin care choices and provide us with great options that actually work. You truly care, and I appreciate the transparency on everything -the prices, the brands, the science, the personal journey… truly honest opinions that isn’t motivated by money. Thank you for another great video! 💕 I’d only ever tried the ordinarys glycolic acid before and it just didn’t work for my sensitive skin and I thought AHA’s just weren’t for me 😢 Until I recently started using the Wishtrend mandelic acid and it’s been amazing!! It’s really helped with my stubborn whiteheads and been amazing for my skin texture and tone. I got the small travel size bottle to start out with and it’s lasted me a pretty long time so it works well with my budget too.

@berlineczka

"Acids are weird" - truer words have not been said. Mandelic acid dries and irritates my skin at 5% already, even when used once a week. In the meantime, I could use a 12% glycolic acid toner (glycolic is much stronger than mandelic) every day (I don't, cause that too much) and my skin would be just fine. Go figure :D

Hi, for winter use retinol, AHA's (only during the winter and only at night time). For day time Vit C serums or other antioxidant serums + spf50. For the summer use Vitamin C, Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide etc based serums day or night (I prefer night) along with waterproof spf50 all day and when you go out always wear a big hat and generally avoid the sun as much as possible. So far I've only tried the summer routine and it has already faded and dispersed my melasma so much that other people can't notice it.
