Hey Charles I had a sample of Hard Truth 4 grain and thought it was very good,, I picked up a Cream of Kentucky this past weekend and I'am not sure about it yet will pick it back up in a week or two,,, your line up sounds interesting ... Thanks

Hard Truth has a small lake on their property with a boat/pontoon with a small shed/rickhouse that just floats on it. Got a bottle of the C of K CS and it’s pretty good, mine is only 106.4 proof. Cheers

Ended up getting one of the Four Roses LE sat while we were at Ky festival. Had to stand in line for hours at the distillery but we got one. Cracked it Sat night and it’s good. Would I stand there for hours and hours again and get up at 2am for it. No. I’d give it a 7.5.

Charles, the Extra Old is to 1910 as WDDO is to Woodford Double Oaked. There is also an Extra Extra Old 117 Series. In my opinion, I can’t tell the difference between the Extra (Extra Extra) Old and the 1910. I also think WDDO tastes just like WDO. That’s just me.

@@thatbourbondude it honestly didn’t do anything for me. I can’t tell a difference between WDO and WDDO either. Thats just me. I also don’t like they are 375s. I have a hard time paying for a small bottle lol.

It's Extra Old 1910. 7-9 months for normal 1910. They finished THIS batch to 18 months.

I like the two Hard Truth bottles I've had (in fact, I just poured a glass of Sweet Mash Bourbon), but this one sounds like it's just a gimmick. I've only had two Sagamore Spirit bottles, but they've convinced me that Sagamore *can't* make bad whisky.

Saw a review of the Four Roses and last years was better from the multiple reviews I’ve seen. And I’m going out on a limb here but if Nancy has here name on it I’m gonna say it’s a buy and back it up. Most of these others are bottles I’ll never see. Unless they pop up on Seelbach. And are under 100. I recently dropped my cap to 100 and that’s going to be a hard sell really. When I can get so many quality bottles for under 70.

some things need to die and go away, like those over priced jeans that come new with holes in them.. that is how I feel about Bourbon hunting.. its time came and went.. just let it go.. let it go.. go...away.. move on .. get a life.
