When you are stalked, your world gets so much smaller. You can’t feel comfortable outside or even inside sometimes. It’s so awful that someone you either don’t know or don’t care about has so much control over your life. I have been stalked THREE times. Only once did I get justice. The other two fell away quite like some of the stories here.

Hmm...Interesting!!! I have been stalked a few times too. And by strangers. That makes it so unusual. The most serious stalking was so bad that I was not safe inside my very own bedroom. He had plans to break in as he had brought tools to get into the house (which was not difficult anyway). I was not even aware that I was stalked and watched at the time. I would been totally overwhelmed and surprised if he had broken into the house when it first did come to his mind. That left me very scared to be anywhere really. But I am recovering!!!

That story of Dave and Emma, it's almost EXACTLY like a situation I've gotten out of 3 years ago, except I'm a guy and the girl was the stalker and the police actually had to get involved, also it was 4 years after high school that I saw her again... people usually underestimate and undermine these situations and don't get how disturbing it is, every gf I had after high school got harassed and 1 even got her puppy stolen (she had 3 dogs and only the puppy I bought was taken) so yeah, the chills I got wen watching that story was kinda overwhelming... What is the best is to be just aware that it might happen and you can do a lot to prevent it escalating. And learn all the red flags! These kind of stories help. But eventually, the only way to stay safe is to trust your intuition...If something seems off...walk away. There is never a good reason to stay in a situation in which you feel even a little uncomfortable (we are conditioned to believe that we need to, but TRUST yourself about it. You do not need to be nice. Just get yourself out of the situation).

I think I treated one of my workers like Dave. l’m a high-ranking chef at a university and I was told by a student employee that her coworker (let's call him Dave since that's who I treated him like) had been touching crew members too much. Not _that_ type of touch, just casual ones, like on arms or shoulders. He was always very outgoing at work. Still, I took him to my colleague’s office for a chat and told him he shouldn't touch anyone without consent. Just handshakes. I said we needed the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, that he pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school. How he shouldn't tell his stories because they may be inappropriate to some degree to the other workers; funny to him only. I think he’s about 25, give or take. He seemed pretty quiet and uncomfortable during my speech. Answered a question or two with a nod and headshake. The only question he had for me was if anyone reported his touching; I said, "It doesn't matter." Maybe that was a bit rude. The next day, I heard on the news that Dave had been assauIted. Turns out some woman stabbed him in the stomach with a knife and yelled, "This is for your joke about my sister. This town will be so much better when you're gone. No one will ever miss a filthy disgrace like you!" Thankfully someone arrived to overpower her and call 911. Dave was severely injured, but thankfully, he's gonna be okay. And that's just it. What if he wasn't? What if my last moment with him was going a little too far in the office? Yeah, I was right about how he should be more filtered at work, and that the touching needed to be restricted for his coworkers’ comfort (and for him to be successful), but I shouldn’t have spoken to him the way I did. I shouldn’t have said to his boss (who was in the room with us too), “Is there anything you want to add?” That was so insensitive, now that I think of it. Our worker never meant any discomfort or harm. He only meant to joke around and have fun with his coworkers, not "have" them the way Dave wanted to have Emma. I should’ve shown more patience and understanding and only given him a very brief and gentle talk in the hall, not a lecture in the office with his boss present. He didn't deserve that, let alone feel hated and worthy of death as that man indicated. I'm sure Dave didn't mean to offend the girlfriend, whatever the joke was. And anyway, it's perfectly natural to causally touch or tap people *without* it being creepy; maybe Dave deserved a right like that, within reason and limits so he didn't go over them and discomfort anyone. I'm so glad he's still alive. When I see Dave again, I'm gonna tell him I'm sorry for being a jerk to him. That I mishandled the situation and could've done better. He may have made a few mistakes at work, but he deserved better from me.

Having a stalke is one of the creepiest things ever. They always seem to find you no matter how low profile you're living. Carry protection with you at all times!!

Well, since 2020.. i feel someone watching me.. like it keeps following me, everywhere i go.. i feel like someone following me, but i didnt call the police because i dont have any evidence.. so i decide to wait for that person show up......
@mercuryvornholt83283 жыл бұрын
One way to see if you are being followed is to shake up your routine and look in the mirror, (like, a pocket mirror.) Or if you have a feeling like that person is in the same!e room, yawn.stay safe, and hope you the best.
