This is an unpopular opinion .... but I don't think he is the savior as everyone thinks in this situation. I'm not going to judge him because I have no idea who he is or what he is like as a person, but the same goes for his wife. Granted, what she did was wrong and horrible, but we don't know everything that has been going on in their marriage or if he is even a trustworthy narrator. Even if everything he said was true and he really is an amazing guy, his actions are really sneaky and out for revenge. It's completely understandable and normal to feel these things in his situation, but you can't fight fire with fire. He may have won his divorce case, but was it really a win? In the end, he was just bitter and empty with a mind set on revenge and cruising on his wife's child support, feeling a sense of satisfaction that the kids hate his wife and that he got custody of them. That seems like a really unstable man to me .... and iv been down this road before with the man I loved ... the real way to win is to be fair and to let go of all hate. For your own sake, it's better to let go of hate than to hold onto it as a crutch and advisor for your actions. The way he plays with her heart is really disgusting as well. What separates you from your abuser is your actions. The abuser only stays the abuser if you react with kindness and walk away. You can't call yourself the victim if what you do is just as bad.
