@@activityenthusiasts Are there checkpoints along the trek where they check for a TIMS card or a guide? Apparently it is mandatory to hire a guide now (since April 2023 actually).

@MikeLaw1980 Hi! We did this trek in November 2023 and we did not get questioned about a guide or a TIMS card. We’re not really aware of the current situation though
