DISCLAIMER: There are some comments saying that this is not proper flamenco techniques. If you look at the title, you'll notice that I specifically called this lesson a tricks lesson. It's meant for players who are not flamenco players to enhance their playing and sound more like flamenco. I am an acoustic fingerstyle player, it is obvious that I am not a flamenco player, and all I'm doing is showing some techniques to help out some viewers get more out of their guitar, that's all. If you want to teach proper flamenco technique, you're more than welcome to make your own video, and I'll give the link right here.

+kevin marconnette Mate, I reckon your positive comments are spot on. Between the 'special people' writing above the heads of those of us who came here to learn & the spite mongers who knock people only because they are bored, -- It could wear away at great Teachers like this. Some may just give up. So its great when I read strong support for people like this who are giving their time & sharing the FREE gift of this inspiring music!

Cheers for the Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Rozardner Guitar Professionalism Reality (probably on Google)? It is a great exclusive guide for easy guitar learning system for adults minus the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy finally got excellent results with it.

30+ years, every style? Wow. Then probably you noticed that some techniques were demonstrated and explained quite inaccurately - for instance "fan picking" or tremolo. And teaching certain techniques incorrectly is not something one should applaud. Don't get me wrong, many years have passed since this video, and this guy's new lessons are pretty decent, but this one definietly isn't. It's rather strange you can't see it with 30+ years experience to say the least.

Been playing guitar 53 years and you're the best teacher I've found on youtube. Everyone has all these tricks and such for speed picking and whatnot but without electric what do the have. I love fingerpicking. Been practicing classical and will continue. Gotta love Steve Howe, great composer and performer.

Such a good video, i like the way you explain it clearly....don´t care about people that dislike you or talk about if it´s flamenco style or not. For me it´s really nice to try out these technics that way. And it definately helped me out to sound more "flamenco" So thanxx a lot for that!

I've played guitar for decades, bored and stuck at times.... so and am glad to finally see hear and learn these much more complex, interesting, inspired rhythmic variations/tricks with the strum hand. It's as if 60% of the instrument is hobbled without these sounds. Thanks.

Hey man, thanks a lot for this little lesson. I can see how these tricks can make anything really have a Spanish flair. I just bought a spanish guitar while in Tijuana. It is hand made by a guy there, it's a Luis Sevillano. Don't know if u know who that is but is beautiful and this lesson will help me get going in playing spanish guitar. I have always wanted to learn but never had the right guitar. But know I do, so thanks man. I subscribed to your channel too.
