Ugh. There was this one guy from my school, who sadly moved away, he was “nerdy”. It was the cutest thing I’d ever seen, I told him how I felt a week before school ended (awful timing, I know) and I gave him my number but he never texted because my parents (who are super overprotective) put a thing on my phone where I can’t get messages or put in numbers from people who aren’t in my contacts, and I didn’t know that. I honestly miss him a lot, it’s been about 8 months since I last saw him, he’d always get really excited over Star Wars and I just listened for that reason, I’ve never even watched Star Wars. He also would get excited about chocolate, he made a presentation about chocolate in our only class together. I hope I can meet him again in the future LMAO he said he wanted to be an engineer of some sort so I guess I’ll look around for someone with his name who has a passion for engineering, Star Wars, and chocolate.

This isn't just fluff talk, I as an individual find a lot of these "flaws" are more like character traits, and fun ones at that. Shy people are attractive because it's almost something like a slow-opening blossom. You get to see a new petal of them as they bloom with trust. The easily embarrassed are endearing, they're sensitive, and sometimes it's fun to make them blush a little in good nature and gentle fun, mainly because I've been there, and sometimes return to that point with certain people. So it is very relatable, and I have a better understanding of when is a good time to stop the teasing. The nerdy are attractive because it's so much fun to just have someone to gush over something with, or to watch them go on and on about why, and in so much detail, they love something. Even if they're spitting tangled Greek, just to see the excitement in their face and eyes as they pour their heart out is more than enough. So please keep being yourself.

As a person who is super shy and clumsy despite being rude and cold, I’m surprised that people find those two flaws attractive. Everyone I’ve ever meant (kinda) doesn’t like me being shy cause I don’t know?? It’s annoying? And for clumsy.. people don’t like it cause you know I mess things up and keep getting bruises all over my legs, because I keep falling and tripping. So, I guess this makes me feel better about myself! Edit: The reason why I’m shy is due to the fact that I hate getting judged constantly. When I was younger I’m was much more confident, but then people started to make fun of me and laugh at me. So, I genuinely just started acting shy. Also, people don’t like me for being rude, cold, shy, and clumsy. They don’t like any of those; I didn’t explain this properly though. Thank you so much! These are pretty much each one of my percieved shortcomings, and it's really empowering to hear that some people find them to be positive. Honestly, half of them were things I was specifically fretting over this morning and was why I booted up your channel today. While some of these sound like they may pertain to the female identifying a little more, I'm at least happy to hear that they're not specifically unattributable to men. Especially with the shyness and embarrassment thing. I get pretty bumbly and stammer when a girl is talking to me in a way not pertaining to an existing friendship or work/uni. And if she flirts with me? Forget about it. I will get very red in the face and my voice will abandon me. These, and others in the video, are big insecurities of mine. Having something like this, something so reassuring, it really helps give me that springboard I need to properly change my perception of these attributes from a begrudging anxiety to one of content acceptance. Two things. One, you guys really boost my confidence. Like, I talk to a lot of people online. A lot of them are guys because that's just who I'm most comfortable around. Without even seeing a single picture of me, they would often develop crushes on me. Some of them weren't worth sh-, but most of them were pretty sweet. I never knew why.
