I think INFPs are quite easily misunderstood. We just want to look like what you have described, but really if anyone manages to get too close, they will start to realise we aren't all that we seem. I for one want others to be positive and have idealistic dreams, hence I carry myself that way, but deep down, I am very pessimistic and struggle with upholding my idealism because it is objectively impossible.
@aahlayamamia61893 жыл бұрын
I can relate to you as an INFP-T. I tend to show positive sides of me such as sharing any positive memories or happening and keep the negativities away. People appreciate positive vibes. But deep down I don’t even know whom to share all my sadness, loneliness, insecurities with. And also I've so many questions Idk whom to ask and get a proper answer from. Sorry wrote too much. 😅😅

Broooo, the writing so much is too relatable TT When I go clashing against someone in the Internet, they would always question as to why I type paragraphs upon paragraphs! I just have a lot to say about your karenness, karen Not my fault you keep terrorising the comment section and I had enough of it, *karen* And definitely true tho for the optimistic on the outside and yet pessimistic on the inside kind of thing oof I go to school counting down the days where I finally can relax during the weekends like: ""Whew, yass we 4 days away dood, we can do this, school is not THAT bad. And it ends for less than half a day!"" Then, I am in lunch period pestering groups of cliques of people and making them laugh and have fun through my antics because I like seeing people be happy because of my shenanigans. But when I finally go home, I'm all quiet and tired (both physically and mentally) and am too drained to talk to my parents at all and just go straight to my bed to sleep until it's night-time oof No wonder I have such a hard time falling back asleep lol But whenever I was drained, I go think terrible thoughts like, ""Do they really even like me..?"", ""Or do they think of me similar to that of a jester in court, a fool who makes everyone laugh because of how foolish they are..?"", ""All of my friends there have their own bestfriends and run to them when they appear, leaving me to watch their laughing backs."", ""I'm out here struggling to get an acquaintance-friend that sticks while students here be bragging about bestfriends since diapers or since kindergarten..."", ""Is this how the rest of my social life would go from now on?"", ""Wanting to be loved but is just too one-sided to consider it anything else than a dream that is too unrealistic for life's tastes...?"" And so on and so forth. Really, I had just resigned myself to a social life filled with acquaintances and shallow bonds with barely any strings attached so.. yikes? Atleast, their betrayal wouldn't hurt too much on my mind. Silver linings and all that. ................ .....Nooo, there I go again, ranting about tmi things like nobody's business oof Was that too somber a topic? I apologise if it was TT Umm, I heavily relate to that one meme about the class clown eheheh? First time I saw that meme, I cried hysterically at how multiple kids had actually experienced the same thing I did and felt bad for them ahahaha TT So uh, #relatable ?

From a MBTI fan: remember that mbti doesn't take into account any traits, mannerisms, or habits you've picked up as coping mechanisms due to trauma or abuse or exposure. For instance if your natural inquisitive-ness has been damaged by an abusive parent, your mbti may reflect that. Something to keep in mind if your type doesn't 'feel' quite right. 🙂

"INFJs are the rarest type in the world" Literally everyone: AYY THATS ME :D Edit: I didn't mean to make it sound like being an INFJ was bad. I read your comments and I now do agree that INFJs are more common than society once believed. I just hate when people call themselves INFJs because they want to be special. If you're an INFJ, that's amazing and I'm proud of you. If you're not an INFJ, that's also amazing and I'm proud of you. But don't call yourself an INFJ because 16personalities said so and because it's rare. My entire family took the test and they all got INFJ.

Yesssss, but, I'm and ENFP technically, but the way they describe the personalities in this video, I more relate to the ENFJ personality. Im always willing to give people things, and I love seeing people happy once I do. Sometimes, I'll go out on a whim to buy my mom something if she's just not having the greatest day, and once I bring it back to her, just seeing her eyes light up, and seeing how happy and grateful she is, that's what makes me happy, and that what life means to me. I just want to make people happy. Yes I completely relate to be an ENFP-T, but, the giving trait isn't usually associated with being an ENFP, so I guess I'm partially ENFJ. •^-^•

Hey looks likes I'm ENFP because in my town I'm actually fun to be around and entertaining guy like my friends say also there is no boring moment with me unless I have to be serious about something Which I sometimes don't pay attention. Also if anyone is reading this read on because I have a bit more. I'm also bit of ENFJ because I care about other people and also kind, friendly and also easy to go along with. So yeah don't know what I am because there is bit more personality that I know that I have. Well actually like my family says that I'm like a leader because how I act and also like a bit of ENTJ because when the opportunity calls I guess I have to go in ( what I call it ) leader mode. But heck why keep writing when no one is gonna believe this. So any way there is one more. A bit of ISFJ because I'm always hard worker and have patient. Also loyal and honest.

i took that myer briggs personality test a few months back, got an isfp. it really fits with what i do, really:) my friends are mostly people who want to stay in their own little comfort hole, so i try to make them do stuff more. even little things as doing a simple challenge during lunch time, or planning a trip for all of us to walk around downtown. they're the type of people who just don't want to do anything, so i like to bring up ideas for them to do something :D

The mbti model is ok for basic understanding of personality archetypes but not good for typing and testing. You should study socionics or at least the cognitive functions and how they bring actual science to the mbti types rather then typing on black and white either or situations. We all have extroverted and introverted functions. We all have feeling and thinking. We all have Sensing and intuition. Its a matter of where the functions line up and interlock. Extroversion and introversion is not necessarily a model of social desire. For instance the most common ENFP by functions has Extroverted intuition and introverted feeling second with extroverted thinking third and introverted sensing inferior. The extroverted intuition makes them more concerned with ideas and discussions and the introverted feeling is concerned with their values and what they truly like so ENFPs typically only get energized by extroverted activities if it involves either things that align with their values or discussion and philosophical thoughts.

@@charliephilip6864 Mediocre summary: "Everyone is at a little bit of everything, nobody is for example completely thinking over sensing or introverted over extraverted. The situation changes our approach but it takes more research in realms such as socionics to fully understand a person's personality. The example used is about ENFP's (that's me) and how, even though our approach is primarily extroverted in nature, secondary to that is our introverted interests of discussions and stuff. We wouldn't be ENFP's if we didn't have both these elements so saying we are only extroverted is inherently incorrect."

Im also ISTP and i remember like 5-6 years ago, when i was 11-12 I was indecisive as well; I couldnt rely on my parents experience since they always were like "decide for yourself" even when things were like procedures at dentist or trying to find something against acne or even the food they buy for me even if doctors tell them that its not healthy for me. In the end, they always said "do whatever you want, i dont care" so thats what i did, i started taking better care of my teeth (im soon turning 18, so ill be able to see dentist on my own), i started working out and eating more healthy and i started buying skincare and right haircare products. my acne almost completely cleaned up and my hair is shining. So I think it all depends from how depended or independed you got in your childhood. Everyone always ask me for advice and Im most comfortable when deciding for myself and not waiting for someone else; of course if i need professional help like a dentist, ill find one since i cant be professional in all topics, but im confident and trust my own decisions
