Yep, thumbnails are very important and the deciding factor on whether or not someone will click on said video!

That is why it is important to start with thumbnails/titles and take extra time into creating them. Also don’t be afraid to change the title/thumbnail after uploading a video. Just experiment and see what works best!

6:40 - obvs these titles are "working" ...but tbh I now avoid videos with heavily optimised nouveau clickbait titles like those. The majority of videos using the "Taco employee warns etc" are not going to be what they sound like. In fact, I'd expect that title to lead to an advert "Taco staff confirm the meat is so delicious you'll order twice"....
