The cast in Romulus was a bit young? The main girl was 26 and sigourney was 30 when she did her first alien film

All these choices are top choices, especially the 2018 Halloween remake, the best blumhouse movie ever.

Romulus cast is in mid to late 20s, why do ppl think they are a bit young?
@samuelparker7280Ай бұрын
Cause that is 15 years younger then the original cast
@ryanwest9546Ай бұрын
@@samuelparker7280 are you re re'd? Sigourney weaver was 30yrs old in the original and the main chick in Romulus is 26
@samuelparker7280Ай бұрын
@@ryanwest9546 that is one character what are the other ages of the cast in the original? Most are 40s and one is in their 50s. So no just stating the answer to your original question. That is the answer people say the cast is younger. I loved Romulus.
@samuelparker7280Ай бұрын
@@ryanwest9546 John Hurt was in his late 30s, Tom Skerritt was in his 40s, and Harry Dean Stanton was in his 50s. Ripley was the youngest in the crew and would be one of the oldest in Romulus. Again I loved Romulus one of my favorite movies this year but some people believe the age differences in the cast is a problem. I do not believe that but there are clear age differences.

@Mad Blood new subscriber here and I must disagree with you on Bill Skaarsgard not being as good as Tim Curry’s original Pennywise, because I actually prefer Bill’s version to Tim’s but, that’s not to say they aren’t both effective. I just think since IT Chapter One was my first ever major release horror movie I saw opening weekend back in 2017 in theaters at least I must say, Bill’s version was much more effective and I admittedly haven’t seen the original mini series all the way through and I honestly have no desire to, since this new adaptation was so effective and really the adaptation I enjoy so much I have no desire to go back and watch the original, even though I have seen clips of Tim Curry’s portrayal of the character and I can totally see why he creeps other people like yourself out more than the new one. One thing I will say that’s creepy about the original Pennywise that they don’t do in the new version is the school shower sequence that, I feel they personally should have done in the new one because, I feel if the new Pennywise came out of my home shower grate let alone at school and taunted me, yeah I’d be off of showers for at least a year, that’s personally how much more effective I think the new Pennywise is over the original.

Im pretty sure its the 2022 Scream coming out to Netflix on October 11th, not the original from 1996 (edit: it might be depending on your region, i live in the us)

I’m a new subscriber and I must say, I have seen both IT movies and I honestly prefer chapter one, so my personal recommendation is if somehow, there are horror fans out there who haven’t seen chapter one or two but, enjoy the original novel and happen to have Max streaming service, definitely go over there as both movies are on there and stream chapter one and if you like Chapter One then definitely check out Chapter Two but to me, Chapter One is a much more solid horror movie and the scares are much more effective in my opinion but, Chapter Two has some pretty effective scares too in fact, I think chapter two goes a lot harder with the darker elements of the scares since the loser’s club are adults now returning to Derry in order to stop IT once and for all.

I don’t get the amount of hate for Trap! We live in a world where classic movies will have characters put their arm in a Blood Pressure Machine during a zombie apocalypse, characters get high and read Latin from a book they know can unleash demons, characters with daughters at home who will STILL keep a possessed doll unattended inside that same home. And no one bats an eye. But we can’t have a movie about a sly killer who also gets lucky?
