I embraced microlocs but still wore wigs until almost a year later. GOD has given me the confidence to stop wearing them and wear my hair now. I just watched your sister loc journey and i must say….THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing. I have been doing my research and watching videos of the pros and cons and I know now that i am very ready. The hardest part for me right now is definitely saving up for the process! One of the most realest things you stated was the cost is an INVESTMENT and this is exactly how im looking at this process for myself. I am 50 and raised 4 daughters, I DO NOT like doing my hair…im over it! Lol my sisters both have locs so they will be my guiding lights but both have told me to do my own research and proceed when i am ready.
