I’m on day 8. I went back to work yesterday. Everything looked so different. Everything sounded different. The lights were a lot brighter. So crazy man.

We’re seeing life clearly, or more clear I should say. Music sounded absolutely incredible to me. That’s awesome that you were able to take some time off.

Heyooooo! Good to see you again dude. I'm currently tapering down. I was at 80gpd for about a year. I'm now down to one 6g dose before bedtime, dropping one capsule every week. Looking forward to zero!

disapline is everything with kratom imagin being able to use 1 or 2 times a week as a superpower ! In place of alcohol or for a social setting or to just unwind after a long week of work! one day I'll get there!

I think the best first step to take is to stop completely for a while. Obviously you have to worry about withdrawal, etc., but once you quit, you can decide whether you want to continue again, or a lot of people realize it was a crutch that they don’t want to continue.

Congrats brother proud of you! Your an inspiration to so many people. The masses of people who use kratom don't get to the point your at so you should be really proud!

Thank you for all your honest videos. I've watched all from day 1. I just want to say god bless you. I believe god is strong for our recovery. You look great! Your skin has good color and your eyes are clear and bright. You look very happy! I'm starting my NO kradom on monday. I'm and older woman who had many surgeries. 1st was my spine in 2013. Well you know the story. Started using opioids around 2011. Make a long story short i lost my pain doctor September 2023...i started kradom...i need to stop it's numbed me beyond any opioid. I'm done..monday is a new day. I will continue to watch you. Thank you for your support.

@smithwesson6620 hi, yes! I stuck to the plan. Day 2! Yesterday was a little rough headache all day, freezing but I moved. Cleaned. Believe it or not I slept last night! Vitamin C every 2 hours, DLPA and magnesium glycine gummy to sleep..

Hey Keith, I highly recommend trying a low carb or keto diet to help with your feet. Sounds like youre dealing some systemic inflammation. I personally finds nothing jacks up inflammation worse than eating lots of carbs, and going low carb basically solved all my joint pain issues I was dealing with. Hope this helps, wishing u the best brother!

Np g! Even if you can give it a try for just 2 weeks you will know if it will work or not. I knows its a bitch, and a lot of ppl just completely rule out cutting carbs as a possibility, but u might just get your feet back lol so its def worth a shot.

Thanks for keeping up with updates. It helps me with perspective and motivation to quit. I have been tapering and will continue. I can go 8 hrs between doses now and hopefully will be able to make it to 10-12hrs soon. Most got stem & vein tea and no more powder.

Proud of you, man! I’m a poor sleeper too and it’s partially due to my spine but once I go to the bathroom at 3am I just don’t get the same quality of sleep, so I sometimes have to resort to melatonin to get some sleep uninterrupted. I use Hempvana cream for my back, which helps a bit. The little things really do add up like you said. I take my sleep hygiene hella serious now!

@StrongKeithJ

You’re welcome bro. My birthday is in late July. I have had zero cravings for a while now. I just know I’ll never use kratom again. I know what you mean about the honeymoon period. The first time I tried kratom I was crazy high! Even nauseous. Then the next time, I lowered the dose and enjoyed the high. It feels good, that’s a fact. And sometimes it crosses my mind. ‘I could use once. Enjoy the high, and put it down.’ I actually know for a fact that I could. But I truly have zero want to do that. I don’t crave beer, drugs, kratom, anything. I have convinced myself that I don’t need it, and I’m right. The only thing I’ll crave sometimes is a Zyn. I’ll pop one in occasionally. But even that I know I don’t need. But I know exactly what you’re talking about. The truth is I’ve worked so hard these past 8 months to be comfortable in my own skin, my own life, my own mind, that getting high doesn’t entice me at all.

5:38 Definitely no rem sleep. For me one of the reasons I kept using kratom was because at night I'd wake and be up for hours and couldn't fall back asleep. Even though kratom was shtty sleep I preferred it to being awake and truthfully I felt more energized throughout the day. Im 7 days no kratom and I'm right back to not sleeping at night lol. Just can't win

8 hours of light sleep is better than 3 hours of sleep. Any day. I slept like this for years. I didn’t start getting my energy truly back for probably a month or two. It slowly got better everyday.
