Mitzi Hale as long as you have your key FOB on your person you can unlock your door when you hold the handle, how do you lock it once you get out without using the FOB, when I try to use the lock button inside the car it does not work and when I try to use the handle once out of the car and door is closed sometimes it locks but most of the time it does not so I have to fish the FOB out of my purse and use the lock button on it???? THANKS!

For 2023 model, I recommend going to any local Mercedes dealership since your car is under warranty and you can fix/adjust anything at no charge. Don't forget your seat belt is active, so it's a little loose, but if something happens, it will tighten its grip on the fly while driving.

Also summer mode: press and hold the unlock button on the key fob. Then point it at the door handle, this will result in all windows opening. Great to let the heat out! You can close all windows by pressing lock continuously in the same way as above.

There is also a holder for the gas cap on the inside of the fuel flap. I have a 2011 model so not sure if this is the same for newer models but is a handy place to keep the cap while filling up!

So great knowledge I have learned so far here . Thank you. I have an old triple one Mercedes Benz C200 car. It has dial lights on the inside real view mirror. If they light up red and green alternatively when I put the key on,then the car won't start . On the other hand if I try again by putting the keys on and they don't light up,then I hear the fuel pump run then it starts. How do I fix this problem Sir. Please help.

I DO NOW THOUGH :D One time I accidently did the roll down windows thing in Eureka Springs Ark.... I have a GLC250 2015 and I tried the hold the speaker button to make a call and it didn't work. I also noted it did not make a 'bleep ' noise like yours did when you pressed it. Perplexed.

When you say "speaker button", did you mean "Voice Control" button? Is your car equipped with the Voice Control (because it's optional)? Can you call, change radio station etc.. by voice in your car?

Most of my videos (except a few) are not applied to a particular model, but to most Mercedes models in general. The features can be found in most MB Classes, some can be found in older models. You just need to see if our car is equipped with it.

I'm thinking it should be possible. You need to consult with any mechanic, if he is able to install the little motor/solenoid to push and pull the trunk cable.

Alarm can't go off while the car is running. Your car was probably installed with some aftermarket (not original Mercedes) system, which monitors a speed limit. Remove it from a car and get rid of it.

That model should have 4 Map Orientations: North Up, Heading Up, Bird's eye view or 3-D Map. Most people use Bird's eye view, so it moves with your car from the high view. Scroll to NAVI and select, then select NAVI again to open the Settings, and then select MAP SETTINGS. If you want to zoom in on the fly, open NAVI and then enter full screen. Then you can zoom by turning the wheel controller. I have a NAVI video tutorial on later 2017 GLS, but it works very similar here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKC4coptgq6irMk

@@KenNickless So the screen doesn't turn on, even if you push the central Power button? Does it play sound? If yes, I don't think you can reset it, you probably need to replace it. If no sound either, check the fuses and power connector in the back of the unit.

When I transfer the transmission from (D to P) the lock it doesn't work until I turn off the car then I hear the lock from down of the car. I think the reason behind that is my son open the door while the car moving slowly. I hope you got my point.

If transmission doesn't switch from D to P - this is something you can not fix yourself. You'd have to see the service department at the local MB dealership for a diagnostics.

BATTERY STARTER etc....Plus Quite a few other components ..unsuccessfully. Is there a secondary battery or something?Sometimes a boost starts it up it drives until it just shuts down...sometimes at night the dash board gets dimm & then ev'rything shuts right down.That's my biggest prob.

If your car dies while driving, it means you don't have any problems with battery or starter. It looks like you have a problem with an Alternator - which suppose to generate power while driving. If you lose power while driving, I would suspect an Alternator and try to replace it. I would also try to pay for diagnostics at local MB dealer or credible mechanic shop.

You can reset it by holding the close button for about 5 seconds, as I've shown in this video's "Problem #4 - Windows Synchronization" bit.ly/MBZM-7. If sync doesn't help, there may be a few other problems like stuck window actuator inside the door or even loose wirings. Then you would need a mechanic to perform diagnostics.

The voice buttons should be located on your steering wheel. But the Voice Control is optional (even if there is a button).

Some features are shown on 2017 GLS 450, and some shown on 2017 C 300. But most of the features can be available on the most Mercedes models over the past 5-10 years. You have to check if your particular model has it, because some of them are optional and some models don't have them.
