Are you saying your Android Auto worked before, but now stopped working? What year is your GLE?

Push the switch and don't release it. Hold it for 5 seconds after it's all the way closed. If happens again, do it again. But if nothing helps, then it may need a deep cleaning. The door needs to be open, and you have to check for any obstructions and clean all the dirt manually.

The battery maybe dead or disconnected. Try to turn the engine off manually by turning the key instead of pushing the button. What year and model your MB?

Mercedes had a lot fiascos between 2003-2005, so 2006 E-Class was the first one to get rid off problems. As far GL/GLS - I don't remember many problems, except older models had issues with Airmatic suspension, so make sure to have it checked professionally before purchasing. I'd probably recommend 2017 GLS (or later) except the first batch production, because that model got a lot of new technology and had been improved with newer safety technology. Make sure not to get the 1st batch production of 2017. It's easy to check. If it's equipped only with Apple Carplay - then it's a 1st batch, but if it has both Apple Carplay and Android Auto - then it's NOT a 1st batch. While V8 feels a little better, you will save so much money on gas with I6 that I recommend I6. Have you seen gas prices lately? I6 actually has much better MPG than posted, while V8 is worse.

Mercedes doors are heavy for safety against the side impacts, so the weight makes them want to close, especially when parked on the incline. Try not opening the door fully, just enough to stick your feet out, so you can hold it while existing.

It should work but with less features, if your model was made before the facelift. However, the Stop/Start feature on the latest Mercedes models works much smoother than on prior models, as it doesn't jerk as it used to. Start/Stop shouldn't cause any problems or any damage to your car since the starter is built-in inside the transmission. Although, some people say it may have negative effects on transmission in the long run, after many years of uses, I haven't seen any evidence of that.

Pelsee has a few models, but I don't remember it having the infrared capabilities to shoot in complete darkness (if that's what you mean). However, you can't drive in a complete darkness anyway, at least you have the headlights. So, it will record if there is some kind of light at night. You can also improve the footage with any post editing.

Lithium -ion battery is the downside of that system. However it has pretty good temperature resistance and windshield heat dissipation, according to 70mai it can safely operate between 14 F - 140 F degrees. Check the temp range of any other dashcam, I don't think you can find much better.

@@MBZMaster other way, remove the a810 battery inside of the unit , and Connecting the battery to the camera by extending the cable from any empty place in to baggege. or alternate camera is VIOFO has supercapacitor.

If the problem is with both keys, then the problem is not with the keys, but something else. Before you do anything, make sure to get a software update and see if the problem is still there.

I can only think of 4 things. First, somehow the key fob button got pushed by accident. Second, if you have a keyless go and you had a key in your hand, you may touched the door handle by your leg or backside by accident. Third, you unlocked the car, and then your car has automatic locking after a while. Fourth, someone else pushed the button on the second key fob (to check if car is locked).

No. If you open the door, the car thinks you forgot to Park the transmission, and it's doing it for you, which is a great safety feature if you think about it. Your car will never roll when parked, even if you forget to engage it. Your case is extremely rare, and it won't happened after your tint has dried. "Hey Mercedes" should work if you have Mercedes Me connect services activated, and also good reception area. But you don't need it, you can use any voice commands simply by pressing the voice button, or you can even use the voice control of your cell phone.
