And the lie lives on and it will continue to live on until you people wake up and stop spreading it - or is it really a lie? Could saturated fats really cause colon cancer? How about you stop eating carbs and go carnivore? I don't hear at all from keto/carnivore dieters having any cancer issues and they eat saturated fats all the time, especially red meat. Weird, huh? As if context really matters with food.

For the most part of this presentation it is accurate However, wheat products & white refined sugars should not be in our nutrition at all. Why? Not only can both products cause cancer but if a person is already diagnosed with any kind of 2:02 & they are ingesting both wheat & sugar …these allow cancerous cells to increase in that internal environment…like a cozy blanket for carcinogens to produce & live longer. Western doctors registered dietitians do not explain or educate those information & attention to their patients Wheat is found in so many products : crackers breads cereals flour rolls pastry tortilla wraps cookies chips & sugar is an ingredient found in everything ! Huge bags of candy are everywhere on the the shelves in all stores “ Family Fun Size “ Informative video You are what you eat Pray for 🌍 ☮️ Deborah

I agree with everything here except red meat damaging your colon. Most of the studies ever done on red meat are observational studies. There are numerous studies saying how red meat has lots of vitamins and minerals that can actually help gut health. I prefer grass fed, grass finished red meat. It’s the “grain” fed red meat we have to watch out for. And besides most people don’t JUST eat red meat. They eat the high starchy bread with it, the ketchup, etc. and this doesn’t include whatever else they might do outside of eating red meat I.e. smoking and drinking.

So you should cleanse your colon in a regular manner by taking castor oil. Remember that castor oil is the only laxative that will not work in the intestines by irritating them, but by activating and synthesizing certain substances in the human body. So any habituation of the human body or diminishing laxative effect is absolutely impossible and castor oil is suitable in a special manner for chronic constipation: Take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach.

I'm 63 and vegan for 8 years. Why is everyone so unable to stop eating foods that are going to harm them in the long run? Saying eat this or that "in moderation," is an empty phrase. Exactly what is "moderation". People who eat animal products in some form or another will think that they are eating in moderation by eating those foods every other day. Or, as this video suggests, replacing one source of animal products (or other harmful foods) with another. Eventually, it won't matter which of these foods you choose. All animal products by about age 50 will have clogged up your arteries and harm your colon. I'm just saddened to see the attitude in this video that just keeps hedging around the problem without just coming about and saying to leave animal products alone, especially by age 50. Alcohol is another problem. Just let it go, period. People don't want to completely let go of these unhealthy foods. But then when they get sick, they want doctors to do everything in their power to come to their rescue.

What you win on the swings, you lose on the roundabouts! Unfortunately, red meat and offal is by far the best source of iron in the diet, which is something vegetarians and vegans prefer to forget, despite the fact that vegetable sources of iron are less effective. Even more unfortunately, red meat is a shocking price here in Europe!
