Addressing to the self-help genre taboo, the real issue with these books is that people often end up faking the changes instead of putting in the work to actually learn and grow. They skip the hard part of developing real skills. Overall really enjoyed your narrations, big ups to the editor for the color palette and always a big fan of Chaaru's quote(s) taste :)

Reading is like navigating the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, where every turn immerses you in a whirlwind of emotions-from indulging in sweet delights to the constant thrill of unexpected encounters in crowded lanes. It’s a journey you must continue, driven by an inner calling that cannot be instilled or erased. Nice drops there by Chaaru. Love from Kashmir. ❤❤❤

The real self-help learnings come from reading a novel, or a biography, outliers' way of doing things the way they do... is the real testimony. I will not say why self-help doesn't work, because it sure brings non-readers (me) to active readers. My first book was Subtle art of not giving a f*k, i hate mentioning this but it is what is it, Now I'm engaged with fyodor's deep rooted problematic characters, Raskolnikov's fate and lack ethical decision making, how burdens on an individual creating bad decisions... i can go on... but point is okay to start somewhere. Golden Shovel: novel.

Hey, if anyone can help. English is not my first language, so whenever i tried to read a book i get bored due to heavy use of vocabularies and phrases. And then i stop reading anything for weeks or even months. If any one can help me by providing some tips. And ya i always thought: do regular readers read book out loud or they just read in mind. As a beginner i tried reading it out loud but i get tired and then i don't read at all.

I read Serious Concerns by Wendy Cope a couple months ago, and I must say it was quite disappointing. Maybe it's not for me, and maybe it's just me who feels this way, but the language was too simple, and the lines fell too flat for me to feel any emotion. I didn't feel anything 'poetic' about those poems, and hence nothing really stood out. It was a mediocre experience overall.

Hi! Charu I am an introvert, unemployed, mostly silent and have difficulty saying No to people around me. My previous favourite was The Little Prince, but since there is no one around to talk to, I forget my learnings from the books I read. A book like The India Way by S.Jaishankar becomes too technical and difficult for me to comprehend. Recommend me a book.
