Sounds great! I will run it by Cyndi and see what she thinks! Our itinerary was splashed on the screen a few times. I think she made it for us to get the best utilization of our time in Paso. Of course, no visit to Paso is complete without going to and experiencing "Sensorio". It was amazing, but did not allow filming. They guard their images with copyrights, so it's a great secret the owners have all to themselves.

Mark and Sue did the wine have a really good taste or is it one of those that you have to acquire the taste ? My mother and father had a bottle in the frig when I was a teenager. I would be lying if I said Sue & I are wine experts or even regular wine drinkers. Sue actually is more of a Margarita girl and I am a Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet guy! We LOVE to go to tastings,.......and we enjoy the change of pace in staying at Harvest Host locations.

Even with our misunderstanding there, we had a great time in Paso Robles. To me, the highlight event in Paso Robles was Sensorio. But their filming copyright warnings on their website told us we couldn't show anything on KZbin, so we chose not to even talk about it.

Very nice vineyard + winery. I know these on-site winery have fantastic wines, but I have to disagree a little that you can't get wines like that in the stores....but I tell you that you can, if you know what to look for. The grocery and liquor stores have many great wines at quite a bit less that you will get for the same bottle at a winery tasting room. But a nice visual representation of the wineries.

thanks for your video. I've lived in PR for 7 years. Your guide took you to larger vineyards and all these wines can be found in our grocery stores: Cass, Daou, Halter, Tablas, et al. Prices vary. It's the smaller wineries that only sell on site or to their wine clubs. With over 300 wineries in the north county alone, it's hard to get to them all but I hope when you come back you can try some of these hidden gems. Happy travels!

If you take Route 44 east from Redding, Ca. heading to Mt. Lassen. You will find a section that is covered with trees somewhat like you showed in this video. If you go through this area after a cold rain or snow storm and it happens to be at night. You travel into a phantasy land of ice-cycled trees. It is so surreal. I always think of the last time through this area and every year my wife and I wait for a chance to go back, in order to create another last time. I'm not certain of who thought of drinking rotted grape juice. But in my 86 years on this dirt, I have never tasted a wine, that I enjoyed. So many people have given me a taste of the worlds best wine, only to hear my opinion of the sewer-water. I wish I could enjoy things like others do but tasting nasty things is beyond my understanding.

NO! The road to this place is too windy and narrow with no place to park for an RV of ANY size. BUT,..........we thought this place was the best! It is really a must see place when you are in the area.

very few of the wineries are RV friendly .. the roads on the west side of the 101 are narrow wit h lots of tuns ..Im sure the freight trucks get there but it'd be another thing to try to find parking for an RV. Many on the east side ( near Robert Hall would be more amenable to RV's) Also the southern are near highway 46 (Vinyard Drive are easy driving) Wineries like Tablas Creek or Austin Hope are near there.
