fun fact: 3-4 year olds are JUST beginning to develop the skill of perspective taking. like they are cognitively unable to do so until they hit a certain milestone (neglect can delay these milestones as well, which she has admitted to), her taking christmas away was the equivalent of getting mad at a baby for not walking the first week out the womb. enforcing severe and illogical punishments for actions outside of her children's control is so wild for her to be broadcasting so confidently. very sad, hoping all the kids can heal now.

Im a child and youth care practitioner - I’ve worked in child welfare and am currently working at a developmental and mental health service agency. Ruby’s expectations for her kids is insane for their age, the things she calls “selfish” is developmentally appropriate for a kid that age, a three year old not listening after being told to sit still for an hour is pretty common at that age - because a 3 year old sitting for an hour unsupervised isnt reasonable. I’ve seen mom’s like Ruby before, I’ll probably see it again in my career. She’s the kind of parent my professors in College told me about, I can’t believe how long she got away with this on a public platform. Thank you for coming to my rant

I am also in the childcare and special education field and came here to basically say the same thing. she's causing irreversible trauma, Also in the teenage years with the way she traumatized these kids she is making it harder for herself in the future because these kids are more likely to keep things from her and do troublesome things if left untreated. I really hope these children get the proper therapy and treatment they more than likely will need. This also speaking from an almost identical situation in my childhood. This type of shit makes me sick. For sure have seen parents like this scum bag before and it's heartbreaking what it does to the children. I hope she and anyone involved rots. But thank you for sharing it was spot on!

The united states military is using technology and manpower to protect deviant sadistic Child SAers that are misusing their access to advanced tools to spy on, harass, and SA children. This sometimes follows them into adulthood. Children that are still too young to know that what they are seeing is not normal are being exposed to disgusting deviant content that is forcefully shown to them by hacking their devices. Many victims may not even know they have been targeted by this, because the majority of the actual SA happens when they are drugged or asleep, the only reason they might know is because the perpetrator may leave behind physical evidence, like bruises, scratches, or bodily fluids. If a victim discovers what has happened to them these worms will misuse equipment and manpower to stalk, shame, mock, and generally try to make the lives of the people affected by this as hellish as possible both offline and online. They follow victims in person and try to intimidate or harass them. They generally use different people who act as though they aren't affiliated with each other and don't do anything they can be arrested for at the time of the harassment. They think they can shame and mock their victims into silence because some of what happens is coerced. These are depraved cowards that gather in groups to harass solitary women and children just to protect SAers

Grew up in Utah, my parents aren’t LDS, but my dad definitely learned from the parenting culture here and treated us like shit. Homeschooled us, took away bdays, xmas, halloween, for stuff like crying. He always talks about how we were bad people, at like, age 4. I have several friends from American Fork and Provo, who were raised more extremely, all in the name of the church. It’s abysmal how much these people hate their children for being children.

The united states military is using technology and manpower to protect deviant sadistic Child SAers that are misusing their access to advanced tools to spy on, harass, molest, and rape children. This sometimes follows them into adulthood. Children that are still too young to know that what they are seeing is not normal are being exposed to disgusting deviant content that is forcefully shown to them by hacking their devices. Many victims may not even know they have been targeted by this, because the majority of the actual sexual abuse happens when they are drugged or asleep, the only reason they might know is because the perpetrator may leave behind physical evidence, like bruises, scratches, or bodily fluids. These are depraved cowards that gather in groups to harass solitary women and children just to protect deviant SAers

My mom was so upset she got things fixed once I told her.. she told me if that ever happens again to just call her.... but it is very humiliating to have to ask for help even as a young child.

I actually had to stop watching during the 8 passengers part. It was like going back in time and watching my mom. I dissociated most of my childhood but the one thing I'll never forget is her convincing me I was a horrible lazy "slothlike" kid. I didn't know until I left that I was sleeping all the time because I was severely depressed because I had no social skills and thus no friends. I also have OCD and ADHD but she refused to get me diagnosed and any problem I was having was because I wasn't trying hard enough.

reading through these comments is SO strange because it’s all people that had my EXACT experience. it’s like out of body. my mom also convinced me i was useless and lazy and refused to get me diagnosed, and then i moved out and got diagnosed with OCD and ADHD. she told me i would just use it as an excuse to be lazy so i was just unmedicated and severely depressed. she made a rule that i wasn’t allowed to sleep past 8am and i would just be horribly tired and falling asleep in school.

she would also get angry with me for not having friends on a regular basis and at one point she invited over practically random people from my school for a sleep over and i was sexually harassed that entire night. she literally wouldn’t allow me to socialize and then would punish me for not being social. it’s so weird. it’s like complete counterintuitive parenting. it makes absolutely no sense.

I'm from the graduating class of 2020. My school lunches were $5. I used to get free lunches but my parents started making "too much" money for it but I still couldn't afford lunches because we were a couple dollars over the threshold to qualify for free lunches. School lunches, are a whole different type of embarrassment. There were about 2 years where I wouldn't eat lunch at all because we just didn't have the money. My friends were nice enough though to give me some of their snacks. It was humiliating when you didn't have enough money and they would take the lunch from you and give you bread and cheese.

My mom worked at hotels for awhile and you wouldn’t *believe* how vile the guests and management can be. Once a couple of kids peed on the pull out mattress and the manager just wanted to spray it and flip it over. So I wouldn’t recommend “settling in” unless you have a black light and do a lil inspection first lol

Pro tip... bring your own bed clothes yall 😬 you will neveeeer catch me using ANY of the hotels sheets/comforters. I'm with Ian. Just came back from NZ for my 30th birthday, and my girlfriend and I decided to unpack and use the shelves in the air bnb. It was so liberating because I used packing cubes, and at the end of the day I slowly repacked my dirty clothes and kept myself organized. I haven't done it for 1 day trips but I don't see a problem.

The timing of the button can be so on point that it's become a bit in itself. I particularly love the one at around 2:15:30
