Thank you for reviewing all these indie patterns. I find the proliferation of indie patterns overwhelming & I appreciate your help and recommendations. But as a US sewist, I have to remember that 1 meter of fabric is longer than 1 yard of fabric !!

I can't recommend SE enough they are so inclusive, new sewers and people using up their left over fabric will want to see at least one of these. Birdy

Thank you Lucy (this older video just came up in my feed!). I'd like to recommend Maria Denmark's Edith blouse - takes just under a metre and is very flattering. I made two in cotton lawn a few years ago, and they're still firm favourites.

Hello Lucy, great video. Can never have enough patterns for scrap busting. I have actually used Style Arc Bonnie woven top many times. Indeed 1 mtr of fabric is all I need. Great make. I love this pattern.

Really enjoyed that Lucy. I like to sew for men and boys but find there are not many patterns for them. I was wondering if one of your sessions could include the patterns available?

I believe you can squeeze the Tilly and the Buttons Stevie dress out of a meter also. I haven't made it but met someone who had. Also the Ogden Cami by True Bias. Fabric shop remnants are often just a meter or slightly under so it is nice to have a good list of patterns to use. I made the Scout Tee by Grainline Studio from 1 meter of woven fabric.

What a great video! I’m always looking for patterns to make out of leftover fabric. What is that blouse you’re wearing? It looks familiar, I’m sure i’ve seen that pattern somewhere recently. Its very pretty 😊

Thanks Lucy! I’ve got 90cm of Liberty tana lawn with a directional print. Are any of these tanks cut on the grain ? I bought the Megan Nielsen Reef set but can’t use it as it’s cut on the bias and would look all wrong. Desperately looking for a tank for this beautiful directional fabric…. Any advice please? Love your videos!

I made the scout tee and soi silk cami from a metre. I have a metre of double gauze and would like to make that Eucalypt dress. Do you think double gauze would suit it? Thank you for great suggestions. 😊
