How about “A day in the life of “X””? Each family member has the camera all day filming their day? Would be cool to get their personal experience. Or maybe “20 questions with X” I feel like your kids are all so unique and have a lot of cool experience and views to share.

Just Awesome!! My grandparents raised 11 children and owned your home 1976- 1997. Many of my aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends and myself have so many stories and memories of this childhood home. It's great to see another big family is enjoying it. Your home changes are absolutely incredible. Would love to see it in person.

I noticed you have more beds than kids. Was that to help with the rental value of the home on your AT trip, or just to have wiggle room? I once did a remodel for a large family that had a vacation/rental home and we put 10 or 12 queen-size bunkbeds in the basement. It ended up being a really neat room that was previously a basement garage - the house was built on a slope.

Yay! Thank you Ben, thank you Kami for giving us a glimpse. Your home is as purposefully eclectic as I thought it would be. Some vlog ideas that come to mind are quick, 30 second clips or 1, 2, or 3 minute clips on top of your regular vlogs. Kami singing, Dove's Hair Day, Filia's art, 15 second clips of Eden's opinion, on ANYTHING, lol.
@faithlersey91385 жыл бұрын
Way cool house tour! I didn’t see Dove and Eden’s though :). The basement chill space is really cool, and I love the table for 2 on the porch. The coffee shelf is my favorite, and the twinkly lights everywhere add to the coffee house vibe. That is so funny about all the coat hooks in your family! I’d love to see a “creators corner” vlog...different members of the family showcasing something they’ve created along with a story or a description of the significance of the creation. I know this isn’t a “how-to” vlog, but I really enjoyed the coffee vlog and wouldn’t mind more teaching/how to vlogs from you guys when it comes to recipes or random skills you can share. How about how to dumpster dive 😂

That's a beautiful home! A lived in home. I think a gardening series would be kind of neat - showing how your backyard comes to life in the spring and how some love, work, and patience can help a family grow together. It could be a once a week series that wouldn't go on forever. If you have fun doing it, you could do it every year during the growing season.

Love the philosophy about the table... it's a place to eat, create, think, teach, etc. We treat our table the same way! Each stain, scratch, dent, or mark, tells a story. I'd love a vlog about the city you live in--what places do you tend to frequent, what's the history behind your city, are there any places in your city that you haven't visited that you'd like to... just a couple of thoughts!

I've always wanted to live in an old home. .the closet thing I think I'll get was having my massage business in a hundred year old house. There's so much to love. .aged wood floors, windows, ceiling moldings, brick walls, crystal door knobs, heavy doors, key holes. I'm obsessed with it all. I'm a lover of wall hooks too. I like the idea of getting antique hooks. I had a rack hanging behind our door and it fell from too much weight and we haven't ever fixed it. In our new house, I'm definitely going to change that up!

Most real family on YT! I advise anyone buying their first house to buy it and LIVE in it. Get your moneys worth out of it, make it home with no worry about resale value or an investment. If you want to add a feature, change. decorate, or paint anything, DO IT! The market can change and make the financial investment worthless, so you better enjoy the life there since you are definitely paying for it!

You guys used to have, approximately where the lockers are, a posting on the wall about food principles. I've long wondered what that says and how y'all apply it to your eating. Also, if you did a financial Friday type episode or something, I'd be curious to hear about the plans behind the adjoining priorities which house family members. I'm interested in different forms of collective property ownership/use in communities and wonder how it's set up financially and legally, and how you guys feel like it's going. You probably covered some of this on older videos....How did you two meet? Did your parents approve of marriage? Why did you have such a large family? How do you earn a living? Politics? What are the practical benefits of religion and does it improve family cohesion (we could extend that to neighborhood/city/state/country cohesion)? Why do you smoke cigars? Do you have future plans for extended hikes? What are your older children plans? Child rearing....how long do you allow children to stay?
