I’m a 32 year old track coach and I still have the passion and drive to run faster than I did in college. If I had to add to this list it would be: Age (not as a limitation) just biology Having a coach to get an objective view Competing - its very hard to get faster when you’re training alone or not competing enough I’m just as strong as I was when I was younger, have more knowledge and implementation than then, and have the same drive mindset as then, but I still can’t seem to get back to and faster than I was in college and that annoys me…

I appreciate the feedback and the comment. I would say with your background you should be able to improve your speed when really getting specific into what needs to improve within your sprinting. Start, Acceleration, Transition and Top End are what I break it down into and in each one of those phases getting the foot contact time, turnover speed and distance correct is important to measure. I have been struggling with my foot contact during acceleration but it's a constant process of learning and improving. I wish you all the best on the journey!
