Him sending it every time he was driving something…. Made the video. More of this for sure. What made Hoonigan videos so good to me were the old school “LA” barnyard videos. The Manline was legendary. And exposed so many great drivers and companies along the way. Do something along those lines. And you’re golden. Love from Texas 🤙🏽

But it really isn't. My little brother built a '79 monte Carlo, twenty years ago, that would lay down 9.50s all day for maybe $2k. $700 for the car, $300 fuel pump and a few bucks for bigger lines, maybe $150 trans brake kit, $100 power glide, and the biggest expense was easily a set of aluminum beadlocks for the rear and drag radials to go with. Everything else he pulled out of various scrap heaps for free. His best friend's family were all street drag racers and had a half dozen or more mid 8 cars that were all scrap parts and would run those times on potholed half gravel roads. And I'm talking about unemployed unknown rednecks that really only bought tires and fuel. Internet has created this ridiculous narrative that you have to have a massive budget and crazy custom parts to go as fast as people have been going for 70 years on nothing but hi test fuel, scrap metal, and the sweat of their brow.

GM NEEDS to bring back single cab short beds.... from base model to fully loaded ESPECIALLY with a 4x4 option. Reminds me of those badass CenCal custom single cab short bed Duramax truck builds I'd see back in the day. If that was a factory option, GM would officially be the GOAT. (also, if they offered an optional straight axle version of their 2500 & 3500 series trucks that'd be amazing but probably would never happen...)
