Prayoonto Racing brought out the Drive Shaftshop All Motor civic to attempt to break the outlaw all motor record and succeed.
First full pass with Norris Prayoonto piloting the car he ran his first 8 second pass going 8.956 @ 156mph. He then backed it up with a 8.950 and 8.960 at 157mph.
On the last pass of the day he was able to eclipse the previous record of 8.94 by running 8.923 @ 157.93 to reclaim the top spot

It is insanely fast. I don't know much about Honda motors, but must be running methanol or something crazy. First thing I would imagine is that it has as much money in it as much as a new Nissan GTR, and it ain't even street legal. How on earth was that motor configured? It was probably pushing 11.5k rpms easily.

sam they are called lean mounts. Gives the throttle bodies the right angle for incoming velocity and clears room on the backside for all sorts of cool header and turbo manifold choices. Also gives better axle geometry

It would be much slower than the fwd version. The N/A Honda's don't make a whole bunch of torque so traction isn't a big issue I mean they still have to fight traction but not nearly as much as turbocharged cars which make 4x the torque so that's where AWD helps
