Wow I had 4 feet surgeries that set me back my active lifestyle and torn meniscus ligaments. I fell into depression because my foot doctor told me I had to limit my walking and no biking either. I gained 80lbs since I became inactive, my mental health declined, anxiety, panic, depression. Watching this thanks to my chiropractor has given me some motivation and some positive outlook that I can rehabilitate and build myself to go hiking again! Literally watching this has made me cry.

You can probably do a lot more than the doctors say you can. I've never met a doctor that has as much knowledge as certain PTs and people like Ben when it comes to rehabbing injuries.

Love these videos! So grateful! I am 60, was a division 1 scholarship volleyball player in college and have been in a lot of discomfort and pain with greatly reduced mobility for years. Several days ago I found your videos.... Saw the one with Dr. Berg which led me to your channel. I immediately started backward walking and the stretches I can do. It is already helping! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So much wisdom and I feel the good will! ❤ Love seeing the different ages and hearing the different goals for training! Gives such hope to all!

Ben,..i cannot thank you enough for these videos. Please dont take them away. My wife had undergone an endoscopic spinal decompression at L3L4 & L5S1 levels via procedure called radio frequency ablation in Feb of 2024 due to unbearable radiculopathies shooting down both her lower limbs. Its been 8 months since her procedure and she is still on Lyrica as the pain had not completely abated. With Lyrica tho she has been pain free. Are these exercises safe for someone like her?

can this program help growth pain in the knee?
@TheKneesovertoesguy
@TheKneesovertoesguy Жыл бұрын
Can be a gem for improving pain-free knee ability! Don't approach specific knee issues and can't control if growth spurts are causing them, but I go to great lengths to educate on the easiest starting steps in my posts, and I have the lowest price on earth for online coaching through the full system (atgonlinecoaching.com). If it’s a knee issue, chances are my programs have helped more people with it than any other! Simply because my programs focus on pain-free ability! The more of it you have, the less likely this is to be an issue. This starts as simple as backwards walking and is step 1!

I’m wondering if you can incorporate a way to do all of these if you don’t have all of that nice equipment - For example, doing the one on the wall while lifting your toes and the stretch on the floor with your knee bent, doing “pushups”. I’m trying to think of ways I can do these with things around the house and yard. Adapt, Improvise and Overcome. I would love to buy all of the equipment you sell but I am retired with very little income. I am thinking of a way I can modify my wheelbarrow to push up a small hill with weight and then pull it backwards, up the hill with weight.

I’m on a ranch like property 25 miles away from a very small town. Would dragging a old tire on our gravel road work alright, forward and backward? I typically walk with a stretch where I walk backwards, sideways ( each side- like a grapevine walk). So have you tried the sled while walking sideways. It may help the adductor and glute min and medium. Just a thought on balancing hip

Phenomenal work! This mom is the definition of longevity, god bless! Ben is doing excellent life transformative work. Thanks for sharing this super valuable content! It hurts and it is quite depressing to see people age badly. Seeing the mom at 70 aging like wine without loss of mobility … gives hope and frankly made my day! Great woman and great son! Everyone needs to learn this in my opinion!

Hey Ben, I've had knee surgery and since I was 13, I'm now 45. I feel rejuvenated looking at this work. Can i ask if this work helps assicated ITB pain too? To date over the decades i have had an acl repair, and two athroscopies on the orher knee. I do feel better 3 weeks in wirh walking backwards, and my ITB is less painfill after the pigeon stretches. Thanks,

little confused about the reverse squat - when Patrick did it, was knees to elbows, but when his mom did it, it was hanging to parallel? and is it a core exercise or hip flexor exercise?
@TheKneesovertoesguy
@TheKneesovertoesguy 10 ай бұрын
Understand your confusion! Knees to elbow is the full range which is great, but the main point is making sure you get your knees to parallel. If that’s all you can do, still an effective exercise, but would shoot for as much pain-free range as you can! It is also both core and hip-flexor exercise🫡

@amarmusic Жыл бұрын
Can someone explain why there is not full ROM on the hanging knee raises but there is on the cable flexion?
@TheKneesovertoesguy
@TheKneesovertoesguy Жыл бұрын
Hanging knee raise is intended to strengthen short range specifically in the top position, while the reverse squat strengthens long range. Similar to why we do split squats and step-ups and builds different parts of the strength curve where there will be more tension.

I love you guys but imma call you out HARD: the reverse squat hanging from the pull-up bar w body weight is MUCH EASIER than half your body weight with the cable machine. I was at the gym today and there is no way I could do 85 lbs on the cable machine. I was doing like 40/45 at most. And I was getting like 15. But I can bust out over 20 w the hanging method easy. Jusss sayin… Update: 1 min later…I just busted out 30 hanging (I have this in my home) with no issue at all. But w the cable it’s mad hard. Actually I feel a clicking in my lower back w the cables when my legs are extended - any thoughts on this?
@TheKneesovertoesguy
@TheKneesovertoesguy Жыл бұрын
Your cable machine may be tougher. Or maybe your cable is in kilograms, not pounds. We’ve used cable for almost 10 years now and can all do 50% BW easy as pie. Regardless: train it! This is one of the only Standards that could vary if a cable machine deviates from the usual resistance.
@MS88nyc
@MS88nyc Жыл бұрын
@@TheKneesovertoesguy haha. You know what, I was actually going lower w my legs for the hanging ones upon re-evaluation of yours. So maybe that’s why it was easier. If my machine is in kg, I’ve been living in a twisted reality haha. You may very well be right! And you could def be right about the cable machine - without grease some can create harder resistance I’ve noticed. On the plus side, you guys rock! This has been helping me so much, love the ATG app too! Great and courteous feedback, very detailed.
