Brilliant Vaughan, I must try again and have a go at teapots, I’ve only done two and I look at them every day in the studio, so as usual you have inspired me 😊 I love the wider bottom one 💚 But they are all beautiful 👏

Such nice tea pots. They are all beautiful. It amazed me really that you had a customer at your shop that tested your teapots if they are dripping on the spout or not..... as you told in this video. I would like to see the pots glazed. Are you posting some foto's? Have a nice day! Greetz Sh the Netherlands

Hello. Mr S. It's been a long time since what became 1st edn, and you used to put those enormous maps on the tables. They were good times. I'm glad to see you are still doing what you love. You're looking good, but how did we all get so old? I'm still friends with Terry, Julian, Duncan and Steve, and see them most weeks. If you ever fancy a game, we can always do something on online. It would be great to catch up.

Hi Patrick, that was so long ago and yet seems just yesterday. It also seems a far simpler time back then without all the wackiness of today's world. I recently gave away all my old lead figures to my neighbours son who was into D&D, he was watching "Stranger Things" on TV. I heard they were becoming collectible now. I hope all you guys are all doing well, I remember you as the nicest bunch of kids in the school, which was a little rough. As a bullied high school kid, myself, I tried to create a safe place for you guys during lunch times. My days are very full, more so after reaching retirement age, who knew that business would be so good at this time in my life? I think about Jill Carpenter (Ms Carpenter) too, she gave me my first teaching job there. I would not recognize the place now, probably full of high rise flats. I made a castle and a dragon in my video called "Candle Holders, basic to advanced". I have always wanted to make a giant version of one, it would be a huge project and I probably do not have the time. Anyway stay healthy, this Covid thing put a huge damper on things, I had it three times and it scarred my lungs, not to be messed with since my mother died from it. Thanks for being such a nice student.

Great looking teapots Vaughan, I'm looking forward to seeing them glazed. I noticed you have a gray photography backdrop fading from gray to white. Would you have a link where I could purchase one like that ? Thanks, Steve

Hey mate thank you so much for sharing your experience! How much clay are you using for the main body, and how tall do they end up being? Would be amazing to see a cross section for them in future videos too to get a good feel of how thick the walls should be. Thank you once again!
@Vsmithpots10 ай бұрын
I use 2 3/4lbs of clay. I think they are about 6-7 inches tall.

Very stunning now ya got me motivated, I’m wanting to make one for my girl friend for her birthday. You make it look so easy,but I know it’ll be a challenge,but I’m up for a good challenge. Just wondering how much clay for the body or does it just depend on how big I want it.

Could you explain the notch on top of the spouts?
@Vsmithpots10 ай бұрын
Just my thing, I hate the similarity of the spout with a saucepan handle.
