8 things to do in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a wonderful city with so many things to see and do! Keep in mind that my list is not all inclusive as I simply didn't have time to do everything! So this is just my list of 8 things to be sure to do while you are there! #scotland #edinburgh #whattodoinedinburgh

Would like to visit Edinburgh someday! I like the old ruins. The ghost tour looks fun! the Cathedral looks cool too. what's the significance of rubbing that dog statue? brings good luck?

yeah, Edinburgh is such a facinating place all around... So much history! I think I liked the ghost tour the most, but I loved it all. Yeah, rubbing the dog's nose is supposed to bring you luck.

Great list! I missed quite a few of these on my trip. Love the look of the ruins and the underground tour. The best thing I did there was climbing up to Arthur's Seat - the views were incredible

I missed the climb to Arthur's seat! There just wasnt enough time to do everything! I'll definitely have to go back. Yeah, I loved the ruins and the Underground tour! I had so much fun doing everything in my time there, but the Underground ghost tour was probably my favorite. The throw in a bunch of history to go with the ghost stories and it was facinating!

My sister just came from Edinburgh in the summer and she raved about it . I can see why with your video. That church was unreal with its architecture. Mary King's Close looked really interesting too. There sure was a lot of people

Right?! I was really lucky that my friend that I was traveling with had already been and knew all of the really cool places to go. But we missed so much too, just due to time constraints! I will definitely be going back. I LOVED Edinburgh!

I loved Edinburgh too! its probably my favorite city to visit! I need to hike aruthurs seat too... there just wasnt enough time to do everything in the time we were there. I'll definitely be going back! If you go back, you definitely need to try the Underground ghost tour! It was SO fantastic! So much history! I was absolutely fascinated! I'm fairly certain that we did the tour with Mercat tours. We found their information just south of St Giles Cathedral on the royal mile. Hope you get to go!

yes! I hope that you get to go! I LOVE Edinburgh! And for sure do the ghost tour if you go! It was probably my favorite thing that we did there! They not only give spooky tales and tell ghost stories, but they also give you a lot of the gruesome history of Edinburgh that is FASCINATING!

Edinburgh is high on my list! This ideo will come in handy. Are you using any gimbal to smoothen out the footage? I've used the 60 fps in some of my videos & the result was something similar. Quite easy on eyes & fun to edit. The castle of Edinburgh looks amazingly royal! Just wow. Good job at compiling the list! :)

Thankyou! Yeah, for most of the footage, I was using a gimbal to help keep it smooth... I wish I was that steady in real life!! :-) I really hope that you get to go! I LOVED Edinburgh so much! So much to do and see! There was a lot that we missed just due to time constraints, so I'll definitely be going back :-)

Do you think 6 hours is enough for edinburgh? Im going for a day trip.

6 hours for all of Edinburgh? I was there 3 days and there was still stuff I wanted to do and see! If you're only going to be there for 6 hours, I would recommend doing the Holyrood garden/palace tour and a ghost tour. Those were my favorite things. It would require careful planning though, even to try to do those 3 things. There is just so much history there!

we mainly walked. We only took a cab once to get back to the top of the royal mile after going to Holyrood, and only because we were so exhausted from all of the places we had already been.
