Think for you. You are a sheep if you allow others to set your agenda based on theirs. Too many dudes allow others to choose for them rather than thinking for themselves. Make sure to get information from multiple sources, decipher it, and then make up your mind. So, we end-up following their direction. All may be good until we reach middle age and suddenly realize what happened. Don't ever allow somebody to dictate where you go. This is your life and not theirs, so do not allow their opinion of you to dictate your direction. Sure, you should listen to sound advice. Surround yourself with those who love you, and listen to their wisdom and encouragement. But be true to who you are so you don't feel trapped around 40 to 50 years old (aka mid-life crisis).

In order to be happy you must be honest with you and choose whatever you want. Whether it is about your future job, your wife/girlfriend, etc. And stay away from situations that compare you with others. This is totally wrong. If someone has success doing something it does not neccesary mean that if you do the same thing you will have success.
