But being an IFFI event held at Goa, there were many South Indian audience in the crowd. The actress however, befittingly replied that she is also a South Indian actress & she can also speak Tamil & telugu. In fact the very first film of Tappasee was Adukalam in Tamil. I can't understand what is the problem that people have with "Kabir singh" and why they need to explain it as it's right or wrong.. I recently watched the movie I liked it . When I search about the controversy with the movie I saw some bizzare thoughts from people on this movie ,there was a girl saying she needs a boyfriend like Kabir singh ,and I was like no girl !! You need a doctor . I feel like Kabir singh is a movie that meant to show a toxic personality of Kabir singh after breaking up with his girlfriend and Shahid had done that role so brilliantly . But For me calling Kabir singh "an ideol boyfriend" is like calling joker "a hero" .. they r not heroes .. they are just victims of mental illness .. you can motivate yourself from their struggle , you can empathise with them .. but making them 'idols' is simply insane !!
