you can increase the quality, the quality gets kept when u upgrade the gem to higher levels

6=100% 4=66.66% 2=33.33% I think this is what he meant

@@MosCraciun777 6 -> 4 would be a 33% decrease. 4 -> 6 is a 50% increase.
