Question of the Day: Which one of these 8 tips are you going to start doing right away? Which do you think is the most useful for you? Also, do you have any other tips or advice that may help others to improve their English skills? My answer: Talking to myself was very helpful, keeping a diary was an incredible task that really helped me in Japanese, and most useful of all for me are tips number 7 and 8. Making friends with people who are willing to help you practice speaking your target language is extremely helpful. Above all, just doing your best: thinking positively, having confidence, and not being afraid of making mistakes is extraordinarily important for improving your English fluency! What do you think? How's your English journey going?

@JeNsJyugyou3 жыл бұрын
Hi Anna 💐. Thanks for watching and for your comment ☺️. When writing a diary, you can ask someone else to check for grammar mistakes for you. Or if you don't know anyone who is willing or able to do help correct your diary, you can write a diary using your phone, tablet, or computer and download a free grammar and spellcheck app called Grammerly. Grammerly is extremely helpful at checking errors and offering suggestions. I'll give you a link to a free download: grammarly.go2cloud.org/SH2Ue I hope that helps. 🤗 (PS. Most computers also already have free spelling / grammar check software installed. Word or Pages are both great programs that have good grammar and spellcheck options👍🏻.)

Jen, this video is splendid, I used to talk to myself when I began to learn. You put such enthusiasm that you encourage viewers to put into practice your right advice. Something that I find very interesting is that you put your soul and your heart into what you are teaching and you do it by imagining that you are looking at your viewers, seeing all our faces as if we were part of a big family. Congratulation Jen, you are doing it very well!

That's great that you used to talk to yourself in English. I think it is so helpful for learning to think in another language rather than translating. That's also probably why your English is so good (your comments are so natural with perfect English!) . Thank you for all of your supportive comments! This comment is especially thoughtful and touching. I don't know if you are aware of the reason I started my channel: I was working as an English teacher at two private schools teaching International students, when I fell on a bus and injured my ankle. I was unable to walk without extreme pain and needed to have surgery, for which there was a long waiting list. During that time I was unable to work and really missed helping my students. As a result, I started this KZbin channel as a way to continue teaching and helping others. Every time I hear from people that one of my videos has helped them, I feel so happy. I really appreciate all of your encouraging comments as I aim to keep helping others improve their English as much as possible! ❤️

Of eight Advice, the one which suggests it be related to keep daily diary in English seems to me fantastic and way more beneficial, it might be twice as useful as the others provide, I am attracted to this one since it is a new idea for me way too different from others, which includes two functions learning and practicing through writing. To me, if you can write, you can speak as long as you completed this with talking yourself loudly. Thanks a lot for all suggestions and advice you give to us.

I speak to myself in English, I'm not afraid to speak English, I do use only the English to English learner's dictionary. If I won't be happy the explanation in the dictionary, I ask in English to people whom I know. I read English books everyday with a dictionary. I realize My short coming is writing, without writing you can't express yourself fully and correctly in any language .
