Nice to see Studio One. This daw needs more recognition

This DAW needs MPE, independent loop and punch locators, and better bundled instruments.

The best humanize guide i´ve ever seen by far! I´ve done midi drums forever, and there were several things i haven´t thought of, that make a massive difference. Thrilled to try em out. :)

Finally! Someone actually said by how much to move the midi notes off the grid to sound human. I didn’t know by how much, and it resulted in slop!

Finger-drumming is where I get my kicks. I do not program drums, I play all my ghost notes in live. I use a Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 and a combination of Abbey Road, Addictive Drums, Soniccouture and occasionally Superior Drummer for my work. Check my channel for tips on how I achieve this if interested, I have a playlist geared toward this very topic.

But then you have to have skill
@TheJoyofFingerDrumming5 жыл бұрын
@@illford more or less skill depending on the genre, for instance metal and jazz and Latin require great skill, while electronic, hip hop etc need less skill. But I generally agree.

Please keep these excellent videos coming! I already use many of the tips but I picked up a few new ones that’ll make my own effort go from “okay...I see what you’re getting at” to sound “pretty good”... 😅

How about putting out a video that shows how to route drums to individual tracks in Maschine using Studio Drummer. I've been trying this for months and no success.

My suggestion is to improve the timing with your fingers. By the way good stuff here!
