In the UK, PSAs are mostly just disturbing. There's that infamous advert with the tagline, "If you hit me at 40 MPH, there's an 80% chance I'll die If you hit me at 30 MPH there's an 80% chance I'll live. It's 30 for a reason." which sparked all sorts of parodies, although when it was first on TV it was kinda chilling. There's also those ones where they rewound time after a car crash, and showed the girl's bones breaking. And a lot of them, even nowadays, are basically just "DEPRESSING FACTS AND IMAGERY" through the entire thing. Like that advert about drink driving they used to show ALL THE TIME a few years back.

There is a poster that shows up EVERYWHERE (there are a few in my school), and it is of a girl's shoe covered in blood on a roadside. Nasty stuff, and surprising that it can be found in a school, for anyone to see. I see why, though. Children need to be just a careful as adults. Maybe scaring them into it isn't the way.

I was watching the VideoO&A channel and they had the bit on canadian PSA's. The new ones about workplace safety are so graphic. And there was one about domestic abuse where a waitress slightly spilled a mans coffee on the table and he flipped out and poured scolding hot coffee on the her chest while his family watched in horror. Canada needs to tone it down with the life lessons.

There was a PSA against drugs (pretty sure it was specifically weed) with a car at a drive thru and a kid on a bike. The little girl was crossing infront of the car as they left and in different scenarios the car was able to stop in time to avoid hitting her, nearly missed her, and in the last one all you heard were tires screaming and a crunching noise. With each clip the car was filled more with smoke, and more laughter came from it. I can't seem to find it on the Internet, but I'm sure it exists somewhere.

Growing up in Canada there was this really cute psa for not eating hazardous things. It was about mice and they saw a piece of cheese in a trap and were about to eat it and then decided they had to ask their mom if it was okay.
