I used to struggle with this a lot (and still do sometimes). I've been given the advice by someone to simply observe those thoughts for a brief moment, then say/declare calmly "this doesn't resonate with me" or "this is not in alignment with who I am". The key is accepting that thought exists but realizing that it doesn't serve you so you won't have to give it any emotion. I sometimes even kind of laugh at an absurd thought in a maybe kind of mocking way like "no way this is even a thought, you're funny, now leave." So you're first accepting that the thought exists, then stating/knowing that it doesn't resonate.

To manifest is to be emotionally detached from the desired reality. To be good with it or without. This is due to the idea that prayer or the act of manifestation is to act as if you have already received it. This ties in to vibrational frequency. By adopting the traits of the desired self, you no longer need or want the things you were manifesting. This is due to the fact that to want is to show to the impersonal energy that you don’t have thus it gets reflected into our lives. Our beliefs or state of mind play a crucial role to how are lives are. This is why negative thoughts affect us negatively not just mentally but on a physical level in which it ends up being reflected in our lives as well. This also brings in the importance of meditation, not just to be spiritual but to also reinforce our mental image or destination and to protect ourselves from thoughts that lead us astray. This is correspondent on the seven hermetic principles on how ‘The all is mind’ and shows the importance of the saying ‘as on earth as it is in heaven’. Same here. Up until this year I was only focused on the physical plane I felt stuck for so long. The analysis paralysis bit hit different. I was in this cycle of going through hundreds of videos, threads, and live streams about manifestation. Being flooded with endless knowledge about manifestation without actually applying it thinking whichever youtuber I find next will surely have the answers this time that will "appeal" to me. Thank you for posting this. I had a recent event that happened that made me question this whole manifestation thing, and the whole process your described makes sense. I went to an employee appreciation event where there was a raffle for 500 dollars. I put my name in the jackpot, and went about my business. I thought about how 500 would be very helpful right now, but there was this strange feeling I had that I just didn't care what the results were. I was just happy to be there in the moment. I felt filled with joy, not fretting about the results. Either way, I'd be goodd and it'd go to someone who needed it. Right before the drawing, I joked with my coworkers that I was going to win it. They said "imagine if you actually do" and I said "Oh, I know I will." I did. I can see where my worrying has failed me now, and that being carefree is the way to make things happen.

That comes with accepting every emotions you get and feeling it without judgement nor guilt because that is how you flow and control it, "be water my friend" by Bruce Lee is so profound with the teachings of stoicism by Marcus Aurelius and Seneca too, the wu wei also finds itself in this teaching.
