Back to your Website Product Catalog Area ...So they could be more easily Purchased Each video Only has a few Product That are included In that video It would seem to be an easy solution to put links for those product That you are demo'ing

How about showing a truck bed drawers on the bottom of the bed. Not up on the bed rails.
@dcyphrz85325 жыл бұрын
If the topper is fastened to the bed with clamps, you no longer have unobstructed bed rail to fasten to. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the mounting points but I don't believe so.

I have been looking at both of these options for quite some time. I have a 2010 Ford F150 with a toolbox in the back. And I was wondering if one of your bed. Shelves would be adaptable to use as a workbench but still keep the toolbox in the truck. I look forward to your response and any information is appreciated.

I think Jeannie was asking about the full length drawer slides that you referred to if making a full length bed shelf. That would be different than the 80/20 profile with linear friction bearing slide (or whatever it is called). I am interested in that as well because I would like to make my standard truck tool box be able to slide down the bed to the tailgate for easy access and slide back up and lock in place behind cab.

How much weight can this platform support? Could be a good option for bed platforms in DIY Sprinter and/or Transit van conversion if it can hold 500+ lbs.

What hardware are you using to attach the linear bearing pad to the extrusion in a way that the screw head won't interfere with linear motion?
@8020llc5 жыл бұрын
While each design is unique, in this situation we used a double tnut with some bolts. This secures the bearing pad to the top profile, while the bottom portion of the bearing pad rests in the open tslots of the profile mounted to the truck bed.

Good design. However there seems to be nothing that addresses the Waterproof issue. Is that metal plate on top waterproof? How do we make it waterproof if not?
@8020llc4 жыл бұрын
Good question, Walter. The individual components of this design are weather resistant, but the design was never intended to be waterproof. A few things you could do include: using panel gasket, mounting the panel on top of the frame (instead of within the profile T-slot), and utilizing a truck cap / camper shell.
@walterpoquioma4 жыл бұрын
And the truck cap / camper shell is something you guys also sell?

Is there a specific reason that 45° meters aren’t used at 90° intersections ? I haven’t seen it done, though it seems like the aesthetics would be greatly improved. Outside corner would receive a (finish) filing, of course, for safety.
@8020llc3 жыл бұрын
Hello! While it is possible to use 45 degree mitered bars for a corner connection, it will greatly reduce the fastener options that you can use for a secure and rigid connection.

This was a fun watch. It's like watching one of those old truck shows mixed with reality tv(with horrible not needed acting). And people who never even completed the project. Honestly. What's the point of doing this if you won't even do it right? So close and it looks like you want to make a decent video. But you missed way to many things to make this work.
@GOLDVIOLINbowofdeath3 жыл бұрын
This is not a practical design. Not physically possible fir one person to safely install or remove the shelf. Should have added a protruding rest to hold the rear corners of the removable shelf/panel at the correct height for aligning the bearing pad on the shelf with the t-slot in the truck.

I believe there is a huge market in the garage shop for woodworking Most hobbyists can not afford a warehouse shop with unlimited space and thousands of dollars on expensive tools Most people accomplish what they need with hand tools and bench top tools that fit in a single car garage or a two car garage. So a work bench needs to be modular and mobile to fit Think Triton TWX7CS001 saw That also includes a router table And outfield table that is a mobile work bench Check out JSK-koubou channel
