80-96 Ford POWER WINDOW MOTOR Replacement - Easy!

Very simple how to on replacing your worn power window motors on your 80-96 Ford F150 F250 or Bronco. Below are the DORMAN part numbers that fit 65-97 but rear motors are only for 94-98 Ford so If you're working on a year outside that range then be sure to check "DormanProducts.com" to verify your part number before ordering.
POWER WINDOW MOTOR:

-8mm deep socket (window motor screws)
-6" extension
-Ratchet
-Phillips Head Screwdriver

Nice video, make it super simple to install. Only thing, as said by others, the access holes are only there because someone else previously replaced the motor. I had to drill the dimples out for mine. But good content!

I have to rewatch my own videos from time to time lol. And not to get off topic but on top of lifting I also run the Appalachian mountains where I live (up to 13 miles in 2-hr flat). Russia is getting destroyed because they have to encounter mole hills in Ukraine! Not that it would ever happen but if we ever had to fight on US soil they wouldn''t stand a chance.

That motor had already been replaced. Those are NOT factory access holes to remove two of those bolts. You have to use the dimple in the inner door stamping to drill your own holes.

I am a 1988 original owner F-150, the power window regulator and plastic replacement motor bolt pattern will not align with the window regulator bolt pattern.. Autozone ordered me a metal OEM motor. The Autzone motor came without mounting screws, also the replacement OEM motor mounting holes were not threaded and did not match the smaller original old motor's machine screws to allow mounting. I went to ACE Hardware and bought three number 12 - 6 " self-tapping screws (45 cents each) with 8 mm heads and a flat screwdriver slot, hope this helps.

I have a question. 92 F250 . Drivers side window stopped working. Passenger side still works. Controls for both in on drivers side. Is it two separate motors?

Yes a motor in each door.

89 F-250... No holes or screws holding the motor and regulator... Instead I have what appears to be large rivets... kinda looks like threads From the INSIDE, if that's what they are... Dang it... This shit is never straight forward... lol. Can you tell me how to deal with these rivets. There are no gripping points on my side to turn anything.

Rivets are indicative of the factory motor that has not been replaced yet. Just drill them out and then you will be replacing them with screws.

96 f-250 water leak in passenger side floorboard. I'm having trouble finding the source. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely heater core... Not to insult your intelligence but in case you don't know there are 2 hoses in the engine bay that run into the firewall that is your heater core. When they spring a leak they need pulled out and replaced. Not sure how difficult it is on the OBS but I don't think it should be too bad.

Again not to insult your intelligence but in case you don't know the heater core is inside the truck under the dash. I mentioned the 2 hoses that run into the firewall so that you know where exactly to find it. The heater core is like a mini radiator with a blower motor that blows across it, that's how your truck cab gets heated.
