I forgot to disconnect my boat from an anchor once, and that was probably one of the most embarrassing things I have done. I basically dragged the anchor 100 meters before realizing, and then I had to pull the anchor back up by hand after getting it solidly stuck in the muddy sea bed. In my defense, I was the last person to use the boat the previous day, and I had not attached the boat to the anchor when I docked it. If the setup doesn't make sense, we use an anchor and a small floating ball as a makeshift buoy, and only connect the boat to the buoy on windy nights to restrict its movement. The boat lies in the same position regardless of whether the buoy is attached, so I didn't notice. Could have made it onto this video if it was filmed xD.
