Hell of an accomplishment, while simultaneously being an indictment of the quality of the grappling at +99Kg.

I saw some seriously sloppy tech. That last guy passed on the wrong sid for guillotine defense twice. And his first kneebar was all muscle. Im 185, and I used to do the 190 + divisions so I can eat and chill, but the technique was so bad it wasn't worth the risk. They are heavy and sloppy and just grab anything and squeeze.

@@FentonMulley-cz8pv what you were watching dude...😂 he never "passed to the wrong side". First guillotine he tried to cartwheel to the safe side and got kicked back over as he was vertical. Second one he got put on the bad side as the guy sat to attack. Then when he tried to go back to the good side, he got put in guard. Less alcohol next analysis 🥴

Kudos to guys like MP going out and actually fighting literally and figuratively above his weight. Impressive to see him compete. Amazing that he won. One nit about the video - - - I realize that editing is needed to make this video proper duration. Sometimes editing skips over the most important part. For some scenes I'm like - - - WTF happened in that transition because the editing totally removed the best part.
