That's Frederick Koehler (Chip from "Kate and Allie") in the Marshmallow Krispies ad and Bonnie Urseth briefly appears in the commercial for the Beef Industry. The curly mop-topped/girl next door Urseth made single guest appearances on more than 20 TV shows and had a regular role on NBC's "We Got It Made."

I think it’s cool that the same family was involved in several years of Christmas commercials during the 80s even if most of the images appear to be replicated. This version seems longer than most.

That is Shelley Long. That would've been slightly less than a year before Cheers started.

Cheers started in the fall of '82, so it would have been on the air for a few months. I'm guessing this ad was filmed a year or two prior.
