These commercials aired on ABC on August 31st, 1985. Happy 600!
1. WXYZ Station ID
2. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
3. Popsicle
4. Hi-C (With Alyssa Milano)
5. Fruit Roll-Ups (With Free Crayola Dry Marker)
6. Cap't O.G. Readmore PSA
7. "Superfriends" Commercial Bumper
8. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
9. Cap'n Crunch "Where's The Cap'n" $1,000,000 Sweepstakes (I guess it's better to have an ok chance at winning 100 bucks than to have virtually no chance of winning a million)
10. She-Ra Princess Of Power and Swiftwind
11. "Superfriends" End Credits
12. Schoolhouse Rock "The Great American Melting Pot" (More people need to hear this song today)
13. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
14. "Schoolhouse Rock" Commercial Bumper (Brought to you by McDonald's)
15. McDonald's (I'm so happy they got rid of those creepy giant googly eyes on their characters)
16. "Schoolhouse Rock" End Credits
17. ABC Station ID
18. The Four Bears Waterpark (From what info I could find, this was open from 1983-2004, and the owner apparently had connections to the mob. The google satellite view of the area shows it is completely gone and the only thing remaining is an abandoned parking lot and a bunch of empty lots surrounding the lake that appear under construction. Sad that a place where kids could have fun on a lake is now abandoned)
19. Promo for "Entertainment Tonight"
20. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
21. She-Ra Princess Of Power Crystal Castle
22. McDonald's (Apparently Ronald McDonald can open portals to other dimensions)
23. Promo for "Ewoks", "Droids", "The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo" and "The Littles" (This was advertising the premiere of the two Star Wars cartoons. "13 Ghosts" was a new show too, and the last "classic" Scooby-Doo show produced)
24. Computer Critters (I can't wait for the episodes about Russian Twitter bots and explaining memes to your parents)
25. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
26. Alpha Bits
27. McDonalds
28. Zack Of All Trades (With Luther Vandross. Since 1985 the future has grown from a manageable small angry cloud into a cat 5 hurricane)
29. "Superfriends" End Credits
30. ABC Station ID
31. Burger King He-Man Cups (I love the art style on those)
32. Promo for "Kelly & Company"
33. "Mighty Orbots" Intro
34. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
35. Fruit Chewy Newtons
36. She-Ra Princess Of Power Catra and Frostra (Conclusive proof that furries are evil)
37. Nestle Quik
38. Super Golden Crisp
39. Aquafresh For Kids
40. Promo for "Ewoks", "Droids" and "The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo" (I love the instrumental version of Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." here. This was ABC's theme song in 1985)
41. "Mighty Orbots" Commercial Bumper
42. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
43. Ovaltine (LOL...♫ I can't get O-ver OVALTINE ♫. Wait, did he just steal someone's bike?)
44. Extra Sugar Free Gum
45. Promo for "Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians" (Back then DC had all of the hit movies and the best cartoons...while Marvel was sort of a joke on that front. My how the tables have turned)
46. Cap't O.G. Readmore PSA
47. "Mighty Orbots" End Credits
48. ABC Station ID
49. Cookie Crisp
50. WXYZ Station ID
51. "Turbo Teen" Intro
52. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
53. Pop Tarts (With Dairy Queen Coupon)
54. Hot Wheels Crack-Ups (Flip 'em upside-down, clown!)
55. "Turbo Teen" Commercial Bumper
56. "We'll Return After These Messages" Commercial Bumper
57. M&M's (I miss the tan ones)
58. Time For Timer
59. "Turbo Teen" Commercial Bumper
60. "Turbo Teen" Transformation (No comment...)

That they were & I lived that time at age 12 & in 6th grade. Mighty Orbots, Ewoks, Droids, The promo bumps (We'll return after these messages), Turbo Teen ( The Human Equivalent of Transformers)...Who doesn't want that capability? For starters, cuts down on parking LOL. A live retro Saturday Morning stream is needed BADLY which includes what was shown here. On KZbin, Saturday Morning is but a push button away.

So, I am a child of the 80s and know that during this time, we were inundated with commercials for processed foods and sugary sweets. The fortunate thing is many households still consumed in moderation, however, this is the pinnacle where the downfall-snowball sits. This was the BEST time though!

I grew up in Detroit and these stations were the ones I watched as a kid. For anyone curious, the background of the WXYZ station ID at the start is the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Monorail that connected it to the Fairlane Town Center Mall in Dearborn. The monorail is long gone, taken down in 1988, and the hotel has been shuttered for years as well. but surprisingly, the mall is still open and doing business.

Congratulations on 600! I’m happy to say I’ve watched every one. Fruit Roll-Ups…my mom would never buy these. I didn’t get to eat one until several years later, and was underwhelmed. That Schoolhouse Rock clip…wow. It really is what we all are! “She-Ra Doll Sold Separately.” I thought she was an action figure? OMG “Computer Critters” that’s so incredible! The Future Blob beat me senseless and told me to be a bus driver. Those ‘Pump’ toothpastes didn’t work very well, seems like a lot was wasted. Needless to say, they didn’t last all that long. I couldn’t get over the fact that Ovaltine wasn’t a new product, at least according to my mom. O.G. Readmore was great, I noticed at the library looking for his book suggestions were already checked out. Cookie Crisp, what a bit of marketing genius! That M&M’s commercial was classic! I still consider the green ones 'homers.'

Schoolhouse Rock-R.I.P Bob Dorough :( Droids-theme song composed(and sang) by Stewart Copeland Super Powers Tam-now that i think of it,that awful Justice League movie could be considered a live-action version of this show(swap out Firestorm for Flash) Turbo Teen-some rather"dramatic" acting by the sidekick..
