I was a die hard ATC 250R guy for years, wouldn’t touch a ATV, until I rode a Banshee.. now I’ve had prob 50 or more over the years, love them to death, my only complaint was I wish they had set it up with a single carb from the factory, would have made life much simpler.. the aftermarket 2-into-1 setup worked ok, but for anything that wasn’t built super heavy (Stroked) the factory carbs always seemed to work out the best.. Nice Find, been watching your videos for quite awhile, good content & God bless!

Fantastic two stroke, reminds me of my youth - As far as that Husaverg is concerned - The electrex stator has been reported by some to damage the CDI unit, and it needs a MOD - The consensus is to have the original stator rewound and/pr modified - Also try spraying the stator with electronicspray to get the water out - Other obvious issues to check are the kill swith or ignition swith to see if it has got short circuit to ground and check resistances in the stator are OK - Also, make sure grounding wires have a good connection - But the consensus of opinion is (Having read forums), is that you need a MOD which stops a surge of voltage found on the electrex stators so it doesn't damage the cdi - Coils are an obvious one too, but I would start with the stator and CDi.

Jerking the grease gun tip off the fittings before the pressure subsides will prematurely wear out the grease gun jaws but buying new grease gun tips shouldn't be a big deal.
