I'll explain you all why the low HP on the Hi car expensive exhaust. Pretty simple, it is a higher flow exhaust. Built for 800+HP, from there on is when the exhaust will start to notice that there is an engine

@@mustangseth7215 There could be quality issues or blockage on the stock exhaust. There doesn’t need to be a difference in model or exhaust system setup for them to cause a performance difference.

On an NA car especially, exhaust design is a dark art. Too large of a pipe near the engine and you lose exhaust gas velocity of the pressure pulse and greatly reduce scavenging. This is why many manifolds are stepped; ideally you want the exhaust tapering from smaller to larger all the way back but obviously this isn't practical. Usually, there's very little to no scavenging effect after the collector on manifolds as long as those. Anyways, what I'm getting at is that the Hi-car exhaust could be sized for a car with a greater power output and you might see these gains amplified with a cam or supercharger, for example.

The throttle body is kind of pointless without doing the GT350 intake manifold as well. You could have got the same or even better gains with the stock throttle body and a PMAS intake.
